Harvest & Curing Trying to keep a little bit of tobacco long term. How do I keep it from drying out so fast?

This is a question for both @Boveda and the community.

I know this will get the slam that tobacco is bad, I dont want to hear that.
What I want to know is this:
I like to put tobacco in my joints sometimes to make spliffs and I dont do it often so I tend to have my tobacco get dried to a crisp even in jars both with and without bovada packbecause of just how long it sits in there because it's natural/non treated tobacco and my first personal harvest of my own tobacco isnt done for a month yet and then itll be 2 to 3 years for it to be available for me to use. Anyway, it also would apply to natural leaf purchased for wraps.
what pack and what size jars should I use to keep my rolling tobacco at that perfect long term moisture so I can have a perfect burn instead of the crap runs i get when i use my tobacco from 6 months ago which just dries to crumbles?

Thank you everyone!

I've tried the freezer method. Back when I was a 2 pack/day smoker I used to throw them in the freezer but I always noticed a difference in taste and smoothness. I never had the money for a proper humidor. I've considered using my impulse dealer but I'm worried I dont have the right humidity and I figure a jar would be about right. But I just cant get the humidity down. I know @Boveda toutes their products for tobacco use so I wonder if I have the wrong percentage or the wrong tobacco type for it and I need full jar or leaf for it to even work because I notice a major loss in flavor after I put the boveda pack into a jar with tobacco in it

way way back when all i could get was block hash.....regal filter was an ok smoke but dry n crumbly in joints.B&H was my prefared joint rolling tobacco,10 packs as they kept fresher.but after 4 days they was falling apart in yer hand.a lot of my mates moved on to hand rolled tobbacco that i first found horrid.as i was outgunned 4/5 to 1 i eventually got used to hand rolled tobacco.
that was back when i didnt have a weed plant to play with every third friday and can smoke pure weed joints till i fall over.
i still use tobacco in hash joints.lots of shit tasting rolling tobacco out there thats like a handfull of pubes, and thats a fresh pouch.others like golden virginia light/yellow/smooth have a more moist feel/taste.and can stay fresh for 2 weeks in the lil zip seal pouches.
cigar smoker i think prefrae 56% bovedas.but cigars is rolled solid ish not like a pack of cigs or loose leaf.so could be a lot easier to keep the right humidity for longer.maybe cigars is like a fine wine and taste better with age.but then again ya not suposed to inhale cigars.i know if ya dont inhale a ciggy it tastes pretty rank, like when ya stiffle a sneeze.
maybe vacumn seal

Hey there! The humidity sweet spot for humidity is between 65% and 75% depending on where you live.

My pops used to always have a tin of bacca on him and he'd freshen it up with Apple or orange peel!.. gave it a touch of moisture and a pleasant tang fwiw!.. easy now...

Hey! You should use a Boveda 65 to 72. We even had someone who lived in the mountains in Colorado where it's so dry he was using the 84% Boveda which is generally used for seasoning humidors. I believe 69% is quite common for tobacco. As far as the quantity needed, here's some info: https://bovedainc.com/support/cigars/choose-right-number-boveda/
