New Grower How many plants to max out 4x4 tent?

Ripped, thanks, I had thought about the fact that numerous different strains in one grow are pretty much guaranteed to grow differently and at different heights too. My idea at the moment is to buy a stack of 12"x12" paver stones(they run a little over a buck a piece at local well known national home improvement store). This seems like a cheap and customizable way to make sure all the plants get maximum lumens and don't get blocked by the foliage from the bigger ones.

A-train, thanks, real world experience like yours is always super helpful. I'll keep my eye on the B-52 and watch for any signs of burn.

Your Welcome, I like your plan you need to post a pic when it is all ready to go. Everyone is laid back and really helpful,it is a good internet community for sure. I am a noob grower myself,I have only have done one run and I'm getting ready to start another by Wed. at the latest. I have learned quite a bit because I had made so many mistakes but every grower has gone through the same thing. It will all click after this run at least the basics but that is what you have to concentrate on,that's what I am doing just get strong at those and move on from there.

I just went through this dude and this is what I learned. (check out my grow, link below)

Many factors.

If you are going for variety, go for medium size plants only and you can fit 6 comfortably; 8 packed but o.k.

Pot size can matter as well with size of plant.

If you want quantity and quality, find a big bush, put it a 10g and go with four.

I have but keep in mind you have to tie them down cause if they stretch you will run out of room in height..

I just don't know what to grow yet. Was going to GO with Northern Lights then thought maybe heavyweight fast and vast. I don't know I'm all over the place.

You should be good to go as long as your not growing tall plant... Just think of it this way how tall are your pots? Then look at your light at its highest point and you really only have room for a 3 foot plant..
