Thinking of doing LST Training in my 4x4 (630w cmh) and 3x3 (315w cmh). What would be the best amount of plants in both of these tents?

I've done 6 in the 4x4 and 4 3x3 before with no training but would it better to go with less plants with LST? Or can I fit that those amounts in the tent while comfortably doing LST?

Thoughts?

Strains being run? And soil? Coco? I tend to squeeze 6 in a 4x in soil, 4 in coco. I don't do a ton of lst on autos, top @ node 6 and spread out. I'm always tight in that area, but was raised that it's easier to remove a plant to get a little more space, than find another plant to add that's the same age!

For me, too much lst with autos can have the opposite effect of what you want.

The 3x is about half the square footage, 9 as opposed to 16, so half as many... good rule of thumb is 4 sqft to a plant.

Getting into the rear ladies can be problematic, so be sure to think thru that first. Some runs I'll pull the plants every feeding, then place back in a different position. Can't be done if I'm under a net. And can be difficult if there's a ton of tie downs everywhere.

I plan to run in 3gallon (Rain Science) pots with Kindsoil.

In 3 gallon bags of soil, I'd probably run the 6 and 2, maybe 3 in the 3x3 and expect to do a little trimming to fit. Currently running 6 in 5 gallon bags, and tight in a 4x with another 3 or 4 weeks left. Having holes, while paying almost 30 cents a KWH just doesn't work out.

These heavily LST'd Auto BlueBerry Domina's each has a diameter of just over 27 inches. I could have easily kept them to 24 inches at the cost of half an ounce or less of yield.

I've grown 3 fastberries and a friend grew 5. They aren't the longest vegging auto nor largest..I dont recommend topping or training too intensively but definitely one I enjoyed. Awesome colors and smells. Runs about 80 days.
