How long does one have to wait to plant their new homegrown seeds? Do they have to dry or anything? Can ya plant them right away?

Let them dry. I like to wait at least 2 or 3 months before germing new seeds

Not sure on that one,but I think they have to be dryed for awhile.Someone else will have to help you on this one.

seeds are viable from day 1....I have had a sprout grow from a seed that ripened and dropped from the mother....
you will get better germination rates if you air dry the seed in a dark place for a few weeks...then store in a bag with a few grains of rice,in the fridge.....for a couple more weeks...

Basically as above. I've used seeds as quickly as 2 weeks from them being taken from the plant, but it's not common practice. I also noticed that the longer they were left to dry the better the germination rate got.

Thanks for all the great info.

You can also improve germination rate by scareifing the outside of the seeds.
