Indoor Hope's perpetual Skyline grow

Can’t wait to see your tent full again bro.
Are you going with a couple different type of containers this next round? Did you get a chance to germinate some seedlings in rock wool with the others that are in soil?

Thanks m8.. looking forward to moving them into final pots and getting them spread out and ready.. yes Im gonna do 4 of the 16 in 3L airpots.. I grew in nothing but 3L airpots for a long time back in the thread so keen to see if theres much difference yield wise between those and the traditional plastic pots.. the problem I had even with 3L airpots back in the day was that I was still getting very tall plants but with Sawneys strains being bred for SoG Im hopeful theyll stay around the same size as the rest.. lets find out :eyebrows:

No, I had already germinated them all in soil before I decided I was going to have a go at the rockwool but I'm gonna experiment along side these soil girls with some small rockwool pots just to see if I can get the hang of using it.. Top feeding etc.. basically keepin them alive lol Not likely I'll get any of them through to flower due to lack of room.. probably be 1L pots only for experimentation. Its 'play with rockwool' time in conjunction with SoG3.. I cant wait.. rockwool grow cubes still awaited in the post but ill have beans straight into some the day they arrive.. scheduled for Friday.. which round here with the post probably means 3 Fridays from now :nono:

I gotta get my groove on with this grow.. need that magic 16oz to fill the jars in case the ebb and flow goes wrong on me

Cool bro!
I’ve seen many people on this forum using the air pots but haven’t tried them myself. Looks like they work well but interested to see if there’s a big difference in the end.
What type of slabs/cubes and nutes did you decide to go with? Would be nice to see you flower them all the way through if possible. The Purple Kush plant in my 5x5’ didn’t belong there and it stood out like a red headed step child amongst the other so I decided to take that one out and grow it in a separate container. Going to let it finish up outside and hope the caterpillars don’t destroy it… need to hit it with BT Thuriside before I put it outside with the elements and pests.

This will be a outdoor plant after today. Lol

I love airpots m8 gotta say.. I just dont really have the space for the plants they grow!!

Im gonna try Grodans mini grow cubes in small pots and either the 3 inch or 4 inch blocks this time m8 as really wont have a single spot when the 16 soil girls get up.. as for nutes.. ima continue with my theme of not measuring anything first off and putting ANs ph perfect promise to the test in rockwool.. so no measuring ph for the first experimentals.. if that fails I'll have to look at another nute line and measuring ph and thats a whole world I dont want to go to if avoidable as a lazy soil guy.. so anyway.. im rambling again.. Advanced Nutrients for the test subjects m8.. grown in Grodan mini cubes first.

If I can keep the rockwool plants alive I may sacrifice a soil plant or 2 for the sake of the experiment and move a rockwool plant or two into 3L pots. We'll see how it goes and decide from there.

That purple kush is super quick.. i actually think she might eat the caterpillars bro lol shes strong.

Sounds like a good plan bro!

Great plan bro!
Wouldn’t hurt to use a cheap liquid PH test kit to see if your Advanced Nutrient's is where you want them to be. I have a Blue Lab pen that I use daily but still refer to the liquid test kit if I think my pen might be off. I know measuring and adjusting PH is a hassle but if you stay within the 5.5-6.5 range everything should be fine. PPM is something you should be concerned about as well… If you don’t use R/O water and go off the instructed amounts on the bottle your nutes might be to strong and possibly burn your plants. Been there done that! :nono: Lol. I’m sure you will get everything dialed in when you start getting into it.
The little Purple Kush plant looks good but wouldn’t stand a chance outside without protection from these nasty Cali Caterpillars. I’ll post some picks later of the damage those little f”:k:rs are creating.
