New Grower Honey's Journey

Give it 2-3hrs to settle....
Thank you for your help. I had to hop on the labtop. For some reason using the app on my phone isn't that great to responding. Something just doesn't seem right. I might go buy another hygrometer. I have four mini meters coming. I' am so nervous lol

Air conditioning or any kind of forced air heating/cooling typically dries the air out. If "South East" is somewhere like say cajun swamp country then from what I hear RH in the 80's could be normal. If you've got another meter around might check in the room outside the tent to see what the RH in the room is. If you're in a really, really high humidity area to begin with could think about a dehumidifier. Small bonus with that of getting some nice "distilled" water to use for the plants from emptying tank(s).

Thanks I will deff check the room.

ok double checking on things. I' am currently at 47 rh which is almost perfect but the temp went up to 90 degrees. My inline fan is on high i have the gale force 4" 182 CMF i also have a small fan at the bottom on my tent blowing up. Im really worried about the temp as my plants are seedlings. I dont want temp to fluctuate to much. I' am using the T5 florecents theres four bulbs maybe cutting two of the bulbs off if this doesnt change??

Humor me once more hang the gage on the outside of the pot.... Like this.... This is a really old picture I have none of those plants still but that's what i do for seedlings.... How much height do you have from lights to canopy again?

Sorry about your temp problems. I'm all too familiar. Maybe you should add some ducting that sucks air from outside the closet. You might have a convection oven grow tent going on if enough fresh air isn't getting in. No where for the hot air to go but back inside the tent? Just an idea.

75 -77 would be ideal in a perfect world. I read that seedlings like a tad bit more humidity. I had mine in the 60's and used a cool mist humidifier to keep things up. Temps stayed in the 70s for the most part though with a max around 83 at times. Get it close and don't worry so much about it. It'll start taking off for sure, the most important part at this stage is DON'T OVER WATER!! Other than that enjoy the stages of the growth and take notes. See ya at the finish and have a blast growing. Peace out...

Update,
So I have opened things up hot air is up an out and there is more fresh air going in. Doing this, dropped my temp to 79 an rh to 31 but then I turned my ac off just to do trial an error an it held at 81 temp and 32 rh. Now its climbing its 86 temp an 32 rh. Now the AC is back on because I cant sleep without it an now iam worried when the lights go out at 11 the tent will drop in temp to much. I'll be checking it all night well periodically. I might have to go with out the Ac or change the timer for the lights. Cant tell until tonight. I have the lights on a 18/6 on/off cycle. sweet marijuana Jesus :crying: I hope it don't drop to much.:pop:
