New Grower Honey's Journey

I'm just interested in the lids. I was going to have to by some hygrometers so why not just have them attached to the lid. They should last forever I hope and fit all wide mouth jars. Great find:thumbsup:

Oh my I didnt see that on the lids... how much is a case of those?

For the analog lids its 7.95 a lid @ Ohio Curing and Preserve. I just supply myself so I only need 4-5 which is worth it for me. Seems easy enough to make if you are handy, and it would cheaper.

Finally got my led lights. I hooked them up not sure what good they'll do since I'm near the end. I also have my jewelers loop coming so I can see my trichomes. My pistols are still turning amber but I'm still getting white ones. Ill know more or less by next Friday when to start water flushing. Excited

They look so aweful. I'm so dissapointed in myself. But on the positive side, 1. Their just plants,it's not the end of the world. 2. Better luck next time as my mom use to say. 3. Most importantly I learned a lot thanks to all you guys/gals at AFN and for that I'm greatful.

Thank you.

Here's a funny for you all, just goes to show how dumb I can be. I got my Ph meter an ppm meter. It gives directions on how to first you/calibrate etc but I just don't get it. They come with two packages of powder stuff to mix with water to calibrate. However one package is green and one is red, doesn't explain which one to use. Ill have to take pics on the meter so y'all know which ones I'm taking about. Unfortunately I'm on my way to work 12 hr shift so I'll be he late if anything I'll check afn. Tomorrow late afternoon as I have to open at work tomorrow. Gotta hate those close an open the next day shift there a killer. Thanks guys

And here is ppm meter an directions however this didn't come with a calibration solution. Both meters came together so is it the same solution I'm using to calibrate both?

I dont think that the ppm meter needs calibration. The ph pen has to solutions to calibrate with, the ph of the solution is on the package. one is 4.01 and one 6.86. Im still unsure of hiw to keep mine properly stored. Also, dont drop the in the water or u have to buy another like i did!

How can they have a powder to mix with water to test with? Wouldn't the PH of the water you're starting with affect it? Unless they specify to use R/O filtered water. All the calibration solutions I've used or seen come as liquid in a bottle. Pour enough in a shot glass to be deep enough for the meter and go.

Dont know ozone, i have two of the identical pens. Both came with those packs. I never used them...
