I couldn't hold back, everything I been through with these ladies I went all out tonight. I ordered the go box line, Mars 300 led two of them, a good Ph meter an it comes with a meter for ppm. I don't know much about ppm but I see everyone talking about it so it's a good to have so got it thats a plus I also got Ph up and down and found smart pots for 3$ each 5 gallon. That was a steal. Now I got to wait and get the roots organic soil. @Ripper how high does the led need to be from the plants? Also using the go box line up I hear members talking about using half of the recommendation feeding schedule on the go box...... should I do this? And I'm thinking starting around week 3? During the first three weeks should in just use water or water and camg+? I am starting to get antsy and excited for the next grow lol

I use another soil on the bottom called kind soil and just feed them water only

To my understanding, a lot of the idea of using half strength nutes is because auto's in general can be more sensitive to over feeding and nute burn than photos. Half gives a nice, mild starting point and then you can gently increase if it seems like the plant needs and/or can take more. Varies from strain to strain much like some can handle Ocean Forest soil well while others burn up in it.

What I've been doing that seems to be working is I wait until the second set of leaves are starting to grow nice. Real leaves, I don't include the rounded ones that are the first to show. Once I see the second jagged set up to about 1/4 inch or so I start with a light quarter strength nutes, run that for a week and then if the plant is responding well go to half strength. The line of nutes I use (Earth Juice...also an organic line) has a foot note under their feeding chart saying to only use half strength for hand/soil feeding, so I've not gone over that yet.

Do I need to do this or would I be alright just using the roots organic an using just water for the first 2-3 weeks

You would be fine... Give nutes when your supposed to

The best way to go is just give grow nute and no bloom nutes till after the stretch is done
