New Grower honey bee extractor?

So I was thinking that instead of throwing away my trim this year I will make BHO. I was looking at extractors ans these 2 caught my eye and I would like the opinion of both of them from seasoned guys..

You will be much happier with a glass extractor I find the butane runs faster through the glass and you canbet on for around the same price plus I just don't like The thought of butane pulling out chemicals in the plastic either here ya go

I have a honey bee...very old but reliable but I think would prob run better like SS said in glass plus with the whole bottom open to screen compared to the honey bee has a few holes for the butane to pass through..nice link on the glass checkin it out now...not sure about the honey bees leachin plastic..I know with pvc and others..but I thought these had a special plastic..if its outta HDPE then its good..

Na I'm sure the plastic is fine in the honey bee it's just me being extra paranoid but you made another good point about the bottom it also slows up the tane which makes crapier oil :smokebuds:

Thanks for the link SS... Do you know if they come fitted for the butane tips or is there a procedure to make them ready to use? Witch size would be best? I was thinking the medium one that holds 28 grams but I am unsure, Ive never made bho before. thanks for you help...

Yes there is a small hole on the end of the tube and when you buy vector butane it comes with 5 or so different size tips . Checkout the link in my sig below How to make budder it should help you get started let me know if you need any help bro :smokebuds:

was wondering about drillin some more holes in the honey b get more flow..as I would like to make a run...or even make a ince round hole in the cap and put in a steel screen...hmm any ideas on findin a steel screen

What size would be the most practical? the 9" medium? Also does any one know the cheapest place to order the vector butane?
