On the east coast Atlantic City is pot friendly. There's small weed/edible conventions there at least monthly. I've been smoking openly in the convention halls for 20 years without every getting harassed. You can get high anywhere inside the casinos you can smoke a cigarette and and 6oz of flower is totally legal to carry. Easily drivable from Virginia to Massachusetts. Main problem is you can't go outside at night anywhere in the city

Cultivated Synergy is shut down; that's where Dude Grows was hosting their cup there for a bit.

I'm not sure if there's much close to Denver that would accommodate, seems the private residence route might be a better option.

I know there isn't an option that pleases and caters to everyone, and having a venue that allows actual consumption is also a challenge.

I think you're right about the private residence. Should you be thinking of a commercial venue, Try to find one where you don't have to use union workers or the venue's workers. Some of the places will make you use their help just to plug in an extension cord. $$$$$$

There's still a lot of research to do on this, I've thought about the shuttle bus idea too. Trying to keep bus depots and airports in mind (not sure if any trains run through here,) but I think having an airport in the immediate vicinity is going to be a good bet for everyone.

I know on the first autoflower cup, they rented a bunch of cargo vans that picked people up on the way, but man.... one of the guys from the forum rode on one and said it was terrifying, just not much discretion for a van full of strangers all packing cannabis (and other drugs.)

This won't be happening until next year, but I do think there's a good possibility of this happening

the most cost prohibitive thing for folks is going to be airfare or gas. So giving folks at least 9 months to save and stuff I think will

I would love to attend, centralized sounds great and Colorado isn't too far of a drive! Michigan loves pot heads also n is very friendly but I'm from Michigan so of course I'd like to see it happen in my back yard!

Gunnison is a gorgeous place and then some, but would be a bitch getting people out. Denver would be the main airport and thats around a four hour drive.(lived in Evergreen and Boulder for a few) More for stoners!!! Cannamingus had a good mention of Fort Collins area. Beautiful spots outside of there and much easier to access...

Me and a buddy were just talking about that the other day it would be cool to hop on the Am Track and ride out to wherever this is on a train HIGH as can be toking and eating edibles watching out the windows! You ever looked out a moving window on WEED! LOL Some trippy stuff!!! Thats probably a 12 hour train ride for me sounds like about 4,000 MG of Edibles and an oz of smoke would get me there....
