Indoor HM's Buddah Purple Kush Journal

Almost there, some how wasnt subbedinto this :( I am now though. Curious on final weight. Colors are nice and I seemed to get very tiny amounts of fox tailing from the girl I harvested earlier today as I was looking her over. Beautiful plant brother and love the colors! :slap:

Took her down today, Day 80. Looks like I have a shot at the desired 2 oz dry. Should be close anyway. Lots of bud down low and dense too, the LED upgrades sure seem to have been worth the price for sure. Thanks to everyone who read and/or contributed to this journal. Pics - Harvest Day.

Beautiful plant bro, great job. Wet weight?
Still on the branches, doing this one old school and hanging the entire plant upside down to dry. Takes a little longer, but the bud shape and form comes out a lot better looking than drying on the drying rack. Will post a weight when I cut the bud off the branches. This is going to be my Xmas weed, so wanted it to look nice when I gift some. I may make this a tradition, BPK for xmas.:xmas:

sounds like a plan my friend. ...sample yet? If so how was it? Looking for a good purple strain with great taste

I'm dead in the middle of first cure having Jared them like an hour ago. Sampled again and didn't even think of that haha what a high on....how long do you cure on average? Once in jars

If I am not "in need", I shoot for a 4 week cure after hitting the jars. I use, and highly recommend, Boveda 62. The company says 1 per quart jar is enough, but I use 2 in the quart and 4 in the half gallon jars. They are like a couple bucks each and are good for at least a couple grows. The liquid/gel feel inside the Boveda will turn to crystals when they're shot. After drying, I just go by how it feels, I grade by sorting tops, mids, and popcorn, then jar it up by grade, throw in the Boveda 62 packets, one on the very bottom and one on the very top. You can just call it a day and let the cure begin if you have to, but I still burp once every day for a week or so, then leave the jars sealed until you need to break some out. Shake your jars every couple days or so during curing to kind of break the buds apart and help them breath. When it's good and cured, the buds don't stick together very much in the jar. Be aware of what I call the "Angels Cut". Your jars will begin to look like there's some missing, but it just shrinks during the cure. Nobody ripped you off, LOL. You can't really shake the popcorn buds apart, when jarring just kind of dribble the popcorn into the jar and shake it alittle as you go, don't pack at all. I always start using the popcorn first so the buds have more cure time and my tolerance gets fed by getting into better and better quality as I go. Finally getting big enough stash of different strains that I can switch back and forth and not build up such a tolerance to any one strain.

I like that. I kinda just tossed it all together and picked my jar with least in it to smoke out of because I'm out except for wax but it's low grade lol. I'll b burping and rolling the jars once a day for about a week then it will just b twice a week for week two. ..won't b around much longer after that. These next plants are nicer so I'll probably keep personal stash from those and aquire some of those bovedas for it. Need to cure a chosen bud until valentine's day for my wife from our first grow ever because she can't smoke right now she's pregnant lol she wants a bud off the girl that has all the purple lol
