HLG 100 Rspec Test

I top between day 14-21 as per Autobeast. He states if any later and you could stunt her. Latest I topped before this knowledge was day 23. And she never got much bigger. Was a Russian auto.

I concur with @Jpkindbud on topping ASAP above the 4th node if that is what you will do?

Ive learned a good bit from him, although I think he cuts a few more days off than neccessary. My 1st grow I accidentally top my NL at day 37-38 and she did great with over 4oz. I have had plants not do much till stretch and then reach my lights. I also veg every plant longer than most do. I dont stitch till day 35-42 unless plant is ready sooner. If everything is perfect 20-25 is my sweet spot. She is at that end today with enough nodes. Every plant goes it's own path which is why nature is awesome. I will let her go another day or 2 and see. If she picks up momentum she should be good to go, if not let her be. I really want to top her tho. I'm the kinda guy that if you tell me "Oh no, you cant do that" there is no doubt I'm gonna do it hahaha.

I know earlier is better if possible, but is it to late? I dont think so just a few days past. If she was this size 5 days ago I would have done it. Is the 3-5 extra days just to much? I am not looking for a huge yield necessarily. I do need to be mindful of her height tho.

If you aren't seeing preflower you may be good...

My vote is to whack her top off in effort to get the plant so you can do your training/wrestling that you do so well :pop:

I consider @Mcdee an OG plant manipulater. I know beast is a genius too but I’ve watched mcdee’s grows for a couple years now and this guy has it down plus he’s always willing to learn. That’s what makes the best growers better and when I’m ready To top and train more I’ll be asking this @Mcdee.
