High CBD Strains

I found the thread thanks for the tag.
I got much interest in CBD strains and products. My wife myself and our small dog use CBD for different symptoms.

My wife use it for her back pain and for her depression.

My small dog gets it for the eye problems.

Myself, I use it for the good feeling.

We tested different products first. The RQS CBD oil is great and was our first CBD product we used it for month and it is great.

Then I started to grow my first CBD strain, it was dinafem auto CBD haze. A great smoke and for a heavy stoner like myself you don't notice much thc.

The second strain I grow are from my close friend @StickMan it's a Harle tsu z6 x autoCBD haze. The buds are drying at the moment.

The new products I bought to test are a CBD tea , a cream and a other brand of oil.

I plan to breed a CBD strain this year and do some research to know more about the CBD.
I found out after talking to other CBD breeder that the same proteins needed to express CBD or thc.

The next thing I found out.
If you cross a high CBD with a high thc strains. The offspring will have less thc and CBD.

Mark from Dinafem told me also that CBD is present in a plant after 7 days of growing.

I also found a how to , to test plants for thc and CBD at home without a expensive test kit.


I hope I got all the Infos together because iam to stoned to sort my brain exactly.

Maybe when I tell you my full story (after my next PET scan and Lung Function tests on 29th April) I might just get off the newbie list and onto "survivor due to CBD"...its a wonderful story !!!

Thanks for that...I have been dramatically flamed on "other" forums for mentioning brand names/Brand Suppliers. I have had such great support and friendly interaction since joining AFN that I did not want to offend any forum rules.

No problem my friend. A small question. I will start some research to landraces with high CBD. Do you know something about that?
I ask it because I got access to different landraces and I don't want to grow them all and test them. If I would know it's more present in indica then sativa it would be not so much work.

Ok we will wait if anyone on board will know it.

The idea is
To do some more research and grow some strains with the genetic background of the landrace that got CBD. Then test them after 7 days of growing to see if they produce CBD. If yes test them weekly to see how the CBD develop. Then compare them to the pure landraces. After that do a backcross and test the offspring again.
It's more a learning process at first before i start a serious CBD breeding project.

My next step for more infos is to get in contact with the guys from phylos galaxy they want to encrypt the genetic code of cannabis. I let you all know what I find out and if I got enough time I will write down all together in one text.

Would like to know how to test at home -- is it relatively easy? Also, does your process work or has it been verified with a lab? Is this for dryed herb?

In reference to landrace-- i watched this youtube and these folks say that landrace hold more medicinal properties since in their findings the early landraces have more and higher comcentrations of terpenoids that unlock the power or healing properties of the cannabinoids.
