This is my plant at 3 weeks old. I'm just curious if anybody had ever grown g14 before and could possibly tell me how long it takes from seed to harvest? It says 9 weeks on the website (420fastbuds)... I'm growing under a 250w hps. Has anybody ever grown this strain or could more experienced gardeners roughly tell me how long you think I'm looking at? Also when is pre flowering likely to occur? Week 4? Thank you

Going by breeders times would be if everything was optimal most fastbuds I finish in just over 10 weeks ish but I grow in coco and I feel they finish faster than soil

Nice looking plant mate. You seem to be on track at 3 weeks, but pulling at 9 is another matter. You will no doubt have a good plant at that point, but leaving it till 11 (or beyond) could make it into a great plant. In saying that each plant is different, so there is no definitive answer.

Unfortunately, no on can answer that for you. Every plant is different. Some finish fast, some slow. Some finish in the advertised time frame. We honestly don't know how much longer you have. "Pre-flower" starts when the plant is mature enough. Plants are living creatures, so there is no set date for when things happen.

You are entering the Bud Zone a different dimension of time. In the Bud Zone time stands still as the buds plump up. They never seem to finish based on the breeders calendar.

The plant looks really nice. As to when it finishes, just keep your eyes peeled, the plant will tell you what you need to know. Don't get hung up on anyone's estimates about finishing time. Just watch your trichomes when your are getting close, and chop according to what your interests are - more amber for couch lock/sleep assist, less for a more energetic high. As others already pointed out, the plant rules.

OTOH, not all strains amber the same, so seek out info. from others that have grown it, preferably from growers on the same page about intended results.
