Yeah I am using biobizz too, I too had a little issue at the start as I am growing in a very hot organic soil from plagron called royalty mix..has worm castings coco fibre lots of perlite and is very airy and is magical stuff , it really is set and forget, the problem is autos really dont like transplanting (no plant likes it ofc but autos seem to be very susceptible) for whatever reason and the plagron mix is too hot to start in. I knew this beforehand...lucky I read up a bit before diving in
because if I had of started in the hot mix she would have been severely stunted if not dead for sure.
So I threw seed in a small seedling pot with some cactus soil and then put that in my little plastic seedling greenhouse box and put it in my cab with light on for warmth. Two days later up she came and I let her grow inside the box for another day then took her out of the greenhouse box and placed under one 27w CFL for a few days.
After about 3-4 days I transplanted into the 12L container with the plagron mix but I made a donut size hole in the center of the soil dug it all out too the bottom and re-filled the cavity with cactus soil. This way as the tap root grows down looking for the bottom she does not get too burnt. Added another 27w CFL at this stage and all seemed to have worked pretty well up until about day 3 after transplant and then came the yellowing tips on all new growth so I knew she was not liking the rich environment but knew also that she only needs to be a little bit bigger to handle the hot soil.
Next time round I am gonna plant in a deep narrow container (like the ones they use for a climatis or a grape plant) and cut the bottom out and put it into my finishing container and fill around with the hotmix and fill the narrow container with cactus soil. This way I can just lift out the long narrow container and choose when the roots are first exposed to the nutrient rich soil. I think about the 10 day mark is safe. But once she is up and running...well then you are laughing, my blueberry is so healthy right now and all totally organic...never had a plant look so good before and I dont add anything apart from biobizz topmax, I use as much as see fit, it is safe from 1-5 ml / litre but I usually give 3ml per litre every watering. No signs of overfeeding / underfeeding just very very healthy green leaves. My last blueberry at this stage was already very yellow due to nute deficiency but this is just green all over with ballistic bud growth.
I have her real close now under my 250 w cooltube (in the photo it is lowered down to take a pic) I can pretty much have the buds touching the tube but I dont like to get that close about 5-10cm away...however the plant canopy is getting a tonne of light being so close and being an even-ish canopy is hopefully gonna allow for some nice fat buds all around the plant!
Last plant was under an oz prob about 25 grams or so dry, but I screwed that up big time hoping to at least pull an ounce this time round
