New Grower Help with square containers

After reading that it was better to use square pots I went out to find some but I couldn't so I bought these square tupperware containers and I wanna make sure that they will be ok to use, they are 1 gallon and I am using black duct tape to cover them and I put holes in the bottom, please let me know if this will be ok.

Hey there. Those should fare just fine I would say. The tape is great. I would surely put more drainage holes in the bottom though. Like a center hole and another four alternating closer around it. Gotta make sure your drainage is good. Otherwise I say go for it.

in the very first pic out of the bunch you can see the cfls all bundled up i was just curious as to weather or not they would be left this way for the grow or if they are there for future set up. an yeah i gota find an appropriate one with fittign size seems imposible

Probably not for the whole grow as the coverage wouldn't be enough.

Ok I added some more drainage holes, how does this look? Also I can fit 8 of these in my cab, how much does a 1 gallon pot usually yield? I know it depends on strain and stuff but I'm just looking for a rough estimate.

I'd say an oz if you do it good. More if you do it great. That's just me estimate.

As for the lights I am going to spread them out before the beginning of my grow I was just testing the temps one day that's why I have them in there right now.

And there is 10 23w bulbs in there is that enough wattage for 8 plants?
