Thanks.. this makes sense.. i have room to put both the filter and fan (with silencer) outside my tent..any negative drawbacks to this that I have to be aware about?

I have the AC Infinity T6 with temperature and humidity controller. Will this allow me to monitor and control the fan from outside when the temp is not optimal

The one possible drawback with the filter outside is that you will be blowing air into the inside of it, rather than sucking the air from the outside surface. It is more difficult to arrange a pre-filter if you are blowing into the filter, so the filter may plug sooner. How much sooner, I have no idea. If you want to hand on to your tent height, filter outside may still be the best plan.
