Indoor help with amount of light needed

i have a 30 inch high/24 inch deep /36 inches wide box------just temp to start plants however i have 4 100 watt clfs right now--how many should i use to complete a crop of lr#2--hope to do 3-- 1 gallon pots---- next month will buy a t5 setup but for now---how many lights--what watage---should lights be on ceiling and sides? thanks in advance--only gonna use for the lr type plants----also have inside of box painted white ,will that work? well i know it will work but how good?

are they true 100 watt or 100 watt equiv?
for CFLs I think its 100 watts every 1 plant and 50 watts for every plant thereafter,

if there 100 watt equiv bulbs, then there prob only like 26 true watts each and then your 4 bulbs would only work for 1 plant tops.

but if each bulb is 100 true watts it'll be like 300 watt equiv/per bulb and that should light up 3 plants.

the answer is as many as possible before heat issues become a problem.
