So I posted a help thread about a week ago to solve deficiencies with my plant (week 7 White Russian in 50% organic potting soil and 50% vermiculite 5 gallon pot ) and came to conclusion that the ph was too high in my medium so I just fed her about 2 and a bit litres of just ph'ed water at 6.0/6.1 as advised ! I checked the run off ph and it was about 5.9 ph. So does that mean my medium has a ph of roughly 5.7 ? If so is that too low and what should I do ??? Ty in advance for your opinions and help !:no:

I think your water should be a point or so higher before going in. In theory, if your medium is around ~5.7, this would raise it to around ~6.7

My 2 cents. Good Luck!

First off ty for your two cents ! So you're saying that my soil is at 6.7 ?if I used the soil ph formula (If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference)and I got 5.7 ? So In other words to clarify I'm asking you if you're saying my soil is at 6.7 ph ? Or that I should try to get it at that ph ? (Sorry for the larger text I copied & pasted from the last thread)

He's saying that you are right about your soil being 5.7 ph and that you need to raise it to 6.7.

correct. i think around 6.5 give or take is what I was told for soil grows. the lower range is for hydro set ups.
