Indoor HELP! Nothings sprouting....What did I do wrong?

Okay, 10 white cheese, 1 pineapple express and 1 kandy kush all Dinafem Fem seeds.
I used Prolite Hp soil in 3 gallon buckets. I placed them in my tent under 2 1000 wt hps lights. 80* at 41% Humid.

2 days nothing? Did I plant them too far in? about one inch with loose soil tossed on top.
Someone please help. Muddy I need you on this one.

LOL, might have to change my user name to Might Mouse.

Patience. 1" is a bit too deep so it will take them longer to break the surface. 1/2" is sufficient. You really don't need any lights yet, especially 2 1000 watters. They may dry out the soil too fast if they are low, so make sure they are raised up high. Keep the soil moist, not overly wet, and you should see them popping in another day or two.

dont worry.. they will show up sooner or later.

my babies didnt show up until 3 days later (being in soil)

I always float my seeds in water and wait a day or so for them to sink and then into moist paper towels sealed in a baggie and placed in a warm spot. I don't place them in soil until the tap root is at least 3/4" long and then just deep enough so their heads are just barely under moist soil. Works for me every time. Just got done starting some Critical Jack

Thanks everyone for the help and no I am sticking with Flower Starter just adding soon to be Fat Bud Havester! I hope.
