New Grower Help NEEDED, Can't get a good yield from my 400w hps setup

I am always a big light guy and have done a lot of testing of different types of bulbs and seeing the differences and its not uncommon for cheaper bulbs you see in kits being sold are off spec of the wrong spectrum for what we are doing. Also bulb replacement while not talked about much here should be done on a regular basis to keep you lights at peak output and proper spectrum. With the light cycles we run its important to know the life of the bulbs you are using so you can guage when they need replaced.

I agree,not enough soil.your light maybe was too far from plants,could be nutes,ph,soil,etc.I think all you can do know is give them flowering nutes and hope you get a few good nugs.Check amazon.com for a ph tester,I got a oaktonph2 for about 60 bucks and so far its been right on.they also gave me thirty dollors off for applying for ther credit card.
