Please help me,

This is my 7th grow and i keep averaging roughly 2/3rds of an oz with my 400w set up. Im so confused as im sure i'm doing everything by the book??

To begin with i grew with 3 250w cfls (1 blue,2 red) and always got an oz per plant.
Now it seems like im going backwards even though i have a better set up now..

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Hi wizard.
id me than happy to help as much as i can. But i need more info about your setup IE.. pot sizes / nutes / temps / strains , just as much info you can give and maybe some pics and ill try my best to help.

Need specifics :
soil?Hydro?
how many plants and what strain?
nutrients?
air circulation?
etc etc

Let us know what the total setup is and we can look at what might be issues

ok well,
I have a secret jardin dr90 street (90cmx90cmx180cm)
4" ruck fan, sucking fresh air into my tent.
400w hps with euro reflector,
12" fan to move air in my tent,
B&Q all purpose soil,
12.5" pots (Can fit 9 into my space),

Hi 400w wizard, Im here to help ya with any problems or questions you might have.

I noticed your other post with pictures of your grow, and the first thing that came to mind was your pots have barely any soil in them, and possibly your soil has slow release nutes? although I doubt this, as your plants look rootbound I think...

With Autos the key to success seems to be Big pots, and the Deeper the better, as Autos only have a short Vegging time, so you dont want them getting rootbound before they flower, or when they are flowering for that matter....

Transplanting seems to cause problems with stunting plants as well, because if you disturb the roots too much then it will stunt the growth do to its short veg time. But if you have experience with transplanting, most people do it at the first signs of sex Ive noticed, and they still grow(stretch) tons from this point.

I have been seing people have good results in 1-2 gallon pots(Full). But from my experience 3 gallon or higher work best, and I would suggest starting your plants in the 3 gallon pots if you have room, instead of transplanting them..

Any other questions you have just ask, and maybe if you tell us some more information we can better inform you, like do you know your ph, and are you using dolomite lime?

I posted a link to your other post for others to see, so they can help ya better.

upon doing some research ive found out im using 4 gallon pots how have i made a boob????

Are you sure those are 4 gallon? they dont look more then 1.5 gallon, like 5.5 Litres....And even if they are, they dont even loook half full, that puts you at 2 gallons if your correct.

Your Ph could still be off though.....

yes, judging by your pics, ph is off to me... or perhaps you need a more aggresive nute sched.... what is your soil ph? water ph? have you checked runoff ph?

ph vs uptake.gifph vs uptake 2.jpgph vs uptake 3.jpg

my 12.5" pots are 3.9 gallons and my 10" pots are 1.7 gallons to be precise, im guessing that with them full i would have had a better result.
My BAD!!!

Also i dont have any equipment for reading the ph.

So, is there any advice from anyone regarding my 3 cream caramel, they have just started to flower.
Can i use the taired technique like when using drink cups on bags of soil for a bigger yield???

Hey there 400w wizard. Most of my auto grows are in 10" pots...I do fill them to the bottom of the top ring though.
Your plants also look like their stretching a bit to much. How close is the top canopy to the light? Do you have a thermometer near the top canopy to see how hot it is up there? Ambient room temp. is irrelevant to the plant. It's the heat or lack of around her that matters.
And for real dude, you need to invest in a decent, $130.00 range, Ph meter... Or at least some Ph paper strips would be better than nothing at all...More than likely that's most of your problem...
Also, make sure your root area is always cooler than the top...Thin soil will heat up real fast...
