Help me speed up my watering game

It’s my first grow so am preparing my tent and tools while I wait for my spider farmer 2x4 tent kit.
Am Growing for medicine so need to do what I can to make it easier and reduce risk of fluffing up!
Found this on Amazon £90 / $125! Thought they d cost more. 2 pots are £60

are they big enough for the auto grow without wasting compost, nutrients and do the roots stay happy in plastic (Ive read plastic isn’t as kind to roots as the the fabric grow bags. Thoughts?
Looks like a good deal. I have no experience with them personally but it seems everyone that uses the loves them

Could save yourself some money and get a watering can that will allow more water flow through the nozzle than the sprayer or something similar. I would also recommend a wetting agent like Yucca to help disperse the water through out your growing medium as well. Those auto pots look nice but I imagine there is a learning curve.

You could buy the ones with circle trays and use cloth pots?
Cheers,

You could try your hand at making a cloth pot to fit and do a side by side comparison...plenty of YT vids on DIY cloth pots.

Hey, didn’t know there were circle ones. illl look into that. I got 5 cloth pots with my spider gardener tent, so will I’ve a go at growing in them, once through my first crop.

i’m just hoping to get some plants to grow first, and then I’ll start doing comparison grow tests (same plant, different pots)

You’re probably right with the learning curve. I think I’ll have a go but also want to try cloth grow bags, I’ve got some with my tent.

I started using yucca a few weeks ago thanks to this website. It upped my game and helped out the houseplants. They have been happier due to this hobby. I was/am concerned about compression but am checking out the 5 gallon bucket and aquarium pump method. I will throw an inline valve so I can cut it off when I need to.

My old beer bottling bucket would have been perfect for this.

There you go m8.

LOL! Your team is the favorite of Spud in Trainspotters! Just reminded me of that scene where Spud blurts out his favourite FB club at the Jon Centre! Hysterical!

Trying to see how best to but together mt Autopot system... but need to find out if its and either / or decieion, as am thinking of buying the dome system, and I'm gonna grow medicinal 'persi' so not sure if it may be overkill for my first grow, or at least to set up for my first grow economically from now on...

No, it's a passive watering bottom feeding pot - no power needed :D

The rez takes up quite a small footprint and is housed outside my tent! ^_^

Damn blue... you forced me into an impulse buy... I bought not one set, but two sets AutoPot Easy2Grow. I found them super cheap on this Dutch webshop for 43.95€ a piece... :yoinks:
