Extraction Help me pick a decarb and insuse machine for 420!

I use a hot plate to decarb. it works as well as some $300 device for $42.

I tried that with less than optimal results. It wouldn't hit the proper temp. I still got a decarb, based on the bubbles and effect, but I don't think it was a full decarb.

You must have a defective unit. Mine runs +-3°F of where I set it? So it works perfectly. I do use the thermal scanner to set it.

Yeah, I broke out my gun I used at the track. I made the car owner buy me one.........TOP of the line! I used it for tire and track temps and then for a quick check of primary exhaust tube temps. LOL! It hurt that cheap bastard to buy it. I told him to buy it or pay me for being crew chief. LOL!

MBM is a sweet machine... had this one going on 6 years. Also have the original Ardent. Ardent says only 14 grams at a time decarbing in the original machine, and I need 2 ounces at a time. I pick a rainy day and spend 5 hours decarbing, then into the MBM with 2 cups of coconut oil. That is the down side of the original unit. The Lyft I would probably grab if it was on sale for that in Canada. It's $450cad on sale here.

Whichever way you go, it'll be a kick for sure :smoking:

I got the levo 2 machine for 300 bucks from Tokyo Smoke in Manitoba. Amazon is selling them for 400 is the lowest I have found. You can dry, decarb and infuse all in the same machine. Only holds 2 cups of oil at a time. Works really good. I ran a batch of oil twice through while swapping in new shake, and I had to lay down and close my eyes when I ate the gummies I made. effed me right up.
