HELP !!! ... Looks like someone set fire to one of my babies

Have you flush your plants at any time during your grow yet? Seems like you have a high enough ec that you might get a little salt build-up. I'm thinking I would have flushed once or twice but now if still in soil. It looks like nute burn happening in one Night is kind of a puzzle.

No - haven't flushed.
But to be fair, there has been ZERO sign of any adverse nute levels.
Not even the slightest hint of nute burn on any of the tips across 16 plants and 5 strains.

The current journals Grow 3 and Grow 4 have a plethora [literally, hundreds of photos] of daily images showing the girls have been the picture of health to this point.

Just to really nail down the time line;

Early yesterday [Thursday] morning - Day 42 - each of the girls were fed 5 litres.
When I say early morning, it generally means between 8am and 9am, approximately one hour after sunrise, and well before the intensity of the afternoon sun.

The fried leaves were found on one of the plants this evening [Friday - Day 43].

There are a total of 16 plants and five strains.
The only strain to show this damage is the Mephisto HubbaBubbaSmelloScope Auto.
One plant is badly damaged - the one featured here.
One other shows a hint of the same damage - same strain, positioned adjacent to this one.
The other two HBSS Autos show zero signs of deep fried fan leaves.

The other four strains show no signs of similar damage.

Hi Yozhik,

Im amazed that this just happened over night. Im fairly sure that this is some kind of heat damage. Was it a hotter day than usual yesterday?

It was one of the hotter days we have had, yes.
I'm guessing it was edging 40°C.
Today was a little cooler - probably around 35°C - but windier than normal.

Hotter than normal yesterday, and windier than usual today - those two factors would definitely accelerate dehydration, if that could be a contributing factor.

Since the only two plants showing damage are the same strain and you've had the hot weather I really think you've got a problem with salt buildup and it just reached the point where the salt was pulling harder than the plant was. Drying out the bottom leaves and killing the bottom leaves with some other nutrient imbalance from the salt build-up makes a lot of sense.

Either Way Salt build-up or something getting in the pot the solution is pretty much the same flush her out.

TBH man after hearing you say that i'm leaning toward other possibility's like perhaps you accidentally spilled something while adding nutes? in any case i would flush her but i cannot give any advice personally because this isn't my area. everything i say is mostly conjecture @Waira ?

No - I can defnitely rule nute spillage out.
There is simply no possible way the feeding went even close to the leaves showing the damage.

The lower portion of the plants have been defoliated from an early age, so the watering zone is leaf free and I have easy access to the soil for watering purposes.

Here she was 5 days ago showing the watering-friendly structure;

Cool.

Those two ladies will enjoy a long water soaking tomorrow - no nutes.
Sorted.
