Help,

This is my oldest girl northern light auto at about 45 days and she's showing these cal mag deficiencies for about a week now, i have her 2 mild flush with cal mag added and water PH at about 8. I got runoff PH of about 5 after which i have it another liter of water maybe. I did not take PH again and thought it would get fixed, I'm skeptical giving them a flush at this point, so is flushing the only way to go? What else can i do to fix root zone PH? H2o2 mix? Or both, flush with peroxide mix of sorts?

The single leaf shots are towards the lower part of plant.

im the wrong person to be asking but il give my 2c anyways as im a bit of an eejit.chill have a smoke relax a bit, dont panic and dont do the first thing someone says to.
flush is something i hear a lot,but is rarely the answer.
ph 8 in and ph 5 out me thinks thats the issue, get it fixed and the rest will follow.dont think its calmag as thats lil dots not blotches, but i been wrong so many times in the past.
to avoid arseholes like me adding their 2c get some proper help from some proper smart people in the infirmary/help sections.
i will ask nice and see if this can be moved.
good luck n keep er lit.

easiest fix is to put fans on it unless its already dry and use a lime heavy soil already dissolved and water it in with good proper good bottled water.works for me.even pull a little soil out of the top and lightly scrape some out watching for roots. water in and repeat once dry with fresh soil unless kept well moist. should improve in about a week or so. i dont PH water so. quality rain water works but Im guessing your a bottle feed grower?anyways, best of luck.Im certain others will come in a tell you other ways but thats one. assuming its a PH issue.which not my field

:toke:-- looks more like a P defc. to me mate, large patch wasting/necrosis is typical of P defc.,... likely, locked out from what your pH has been,.. I need more info though, so please go to the highlighted section above this on, and look for the Patient info form,.. copy and paste it here with info needed,... next step depends on this info!... Have you calibrated the pH meter recently? Any chance you have a TDS/EC meter? Something is wacko if your input flush was 8 and run-off was 5.0,.. what's the water source, pH and again TDS/EC if you have it?

Thanks for this please see below the patient form:
Problem: yellowing leaves with brown spots more on new leaves and leaves more exposed to light
-Medium/grow method: soil; espoma organic mix.

-Feed and supplements used: FF nutes trio. I've not really started giving proper feeds, just gave 1 with big bloom 2 tbs/ gallon on 8/22ish
Used cal mag GH CaliMagic at 1 ml/l

-Water source: local spring water sold by the gallon. I could check PH which is 6.7 stable
-Strain and age; northern lights by RQS, aproc 48 days.

-Climate: lived in high 80s till last week when trends are better. 71/80(hi/lo) and RH stays bellow 60 in 30s some days( changes by how i adjust my fans)

- Light used: led viparspectra300w Plant tops to light dist: 10 inches

-Additional info: Effected for about 10 days, started as Lower leaves yellowing and felt much like regular N deff, bottom leaves but that spread quickly, i tried giving some tappin roots, kelp extract as foliar and GH flora nova recommended dose approx mixed in 16 oz spray bottle

Also don't have any meters i use the liquid kit by gh to test ph

Please can someone chime in on this? I will go ahead with the flush tonight unless i get better ideas

@Waira is up there with the best we got! :coffee:

I'd hold tight for wairakins to get back in. Waira is from a different time zone so right now will be in a deep sleep, but usually gets back online in about 9 hours or so.

A few hours won't make too much difference! Better to not rush into things!

....what soil is she in? I find the run-off readings from that test kit suspect,...Run-off is not an accurate indicator of root zone pH; it can give a crude estimate, that's it,... and the dropper kits are not very good resolution, hampered further by discolored water,... With little to no feeds, the pH shouldn't be badly acidic,.... I don't know much about this soil, or seen it used; do you have some still? We need to determine if the soil is badly off.... A quick and dirty slurry test can be done to determine if the soil is starting out off-pH... 1 cup soil, 1 cup water, mix and let sit for an hour; drain water out, trying to keep as much soil out as possible,.. let it settle, or pour through a coffee filter to remove particulates,.. this will help with color reading when tested,... you can test the pot run-off after filtering out the crud as well,... pH will change once in-pot, the roots, microbes, etc. all are influencing factors,...
Big Bloom is so weak, I don't even consider it a fertilizer, more like a nice supplement; look at the NPK#'s, all in the decimal range,... For sure part of the problem is lack of feeds, especially for a plant this age and in bloom, when P demand is highest,... So, you need to feed, but the catch-22 danger is, if the soil really is badly off pH, then feeding will make matters worse,... flushing shouldn't be done unless there's positive reliable indication that the pH is really far off, and the plant is crashing fast,.. remember, this will strip away what little nutes are in there,.. usually, on the last pour, 1/4 strength nutes and Ca-Mg are added in to replace some of what 's been lost,...

Thanks much, i don't have any soil left and later i topped up with ffof. So I think I'll try tho keep a light flush, so far I've not really had any significant runoff so maybe now I'll try to put at least 1-2 gallon in my 3 gallon pot. I normally start to get some runoff with about 3l in and i stop there, and I've read a flush means 3 times the water meaning 9 gallon water, so i hope 2-3 gallons would do it right, i would keep monitoring runoff frequently.
