Hi,

I need help as this is my first time growing! I planted some autoflowers, specifically ‘quick one’ by Royal Queen Seeds on the 8th September.

They have ONLY just began to show a few pistils and have 0 buds at all which I don’t think is right for the age of the plants. Could they possibly be photos? Are they even flowering? If flowering should I just leave them and will I get anything from them? I don’t mind a low yield as it’s my first time, I just want to know they are okay!!

@Benlomas7 :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: Yes your girls are in what we call preflower. 8 weeks is very slow for an auto to reach this stage. Things that can slow them down are too cold. Cannabis likes 68°F night times and 78°F day time. The strength of light they are getting. Running lights 24/0 can cause some strange things but rare. Last but not least is genetics. Not all seeds that should be autos actually are. The ruderalis genes may have gone recessive. It just happens.

Your plants look healthy. I see a CFL in your tent is that your light source? Fluorescent is ok for the veg stage but not enough light for flower.
