First time grower here. I decided to test my thumb with AF strains since I can't afford an indoor setting and the spring was about to end when I finally made my mind.
I've never grown a plant before, not even a bean, but the ridiculously high price of cannabis led me to make the decision, which of course I will never regret; it's been an incredibly rewarding experience so far. I would say growing your own medicine is as good as taking it. I'm 22 and I suffer from depression and insomnia, and it's been 2 years since I decided to stop taking pills and give this wonderful plant a try. It's life changing. During the morning it helps me to be in peace with this [place adjective here] world and during the night it allows me to find my comfort zone and sleep. Too bad it's still illegal here and I find myself paying about US$25 per gram (which is a lot of money, at least in the country where I reside), not to mention I have to get it from a dealer; situation which I'm not comfortable with, so I can't wait for my ladies to finish!
My girls are almost 9 weeks old since they sprouted and I will be posting a thread in the outdoor section to know if they're ready to harvest or not. Please take a look if you can.
Anyway, I hope this serves as an introduction and I hope I can contribute to this wonderful site
Cheers and have a beautiful last day of the year.
