Seed Bank Heirloom Genetics communal thread for strain testing!

My last Marion Berry OG popped a couple days ago. I will snap some pics of the three later tonight or tomorrow. Not much happening though lol they are just doin their root thing under the soil

one of them def has some damage you can see in this middle picture it was worse yesterday but now it’s back on track and starting to look better now. It probably slowed em down by 3-5 days not time wise but growth wise. it had been over a month since I treated the soil with mosquito dunks and it caused a few of the little fuggers to get to my seedlings. But like I said it’s all good now, no mo FGs and newest Growth lookin goood.

These were from yesterday morning. I will take some more in a couple days when the two look a little better lol

I forgot that I planed the other two beans That I germmed in The Marion Berry pot that got hit by fungus gnats. I totally had forgotten about it, welllllll she popped up and is lookin WAAAAY healthier than the other one, so I think I am goin to give em both a week and the biggest at the end gets to live lol

This is an example of what I see as the universe tellin me this is my correct path. I was kinda falling into the “keeping up with the Joneses” trap. Because I have a couple seedlings and juvenile plants that didn’t look “perfect” so I was kinda down on myself. Mainly because this one was not doing well at all and I want to give these genetics the best as they are teaters with more on the line. So I literally have 22 or 23 other plants doing the best I’ve ever done, and was focusing on the ONE that was suffering and not looking right.

Wellllll the way I look at it is, the universe said “here, a perfect little baby popping up to show you that you are doing the right thing”

So there was definitely an issue in that pot with the funky one leafed Marion Berry Kush in it. BUT the OTHER bean that I threw in popped up lol so that’s 100% germ rate for the Marion Berrys. So what I did was ditch that whole other pot and made up a new one, I very carefully dug it up and transplanted. So I should have 3 Marion Berry kush plants. Here are a few pics

Here are the three little ladies. I was havin a tad bit of trouble with pH being off out of the gate. That’s sorted and they all look like they are starting to take off.

Been slacking on my updates but here are some pics of the ladies they are moving right along. The second oldest is taking off

DJ
I just put two down to germ so they should be getting into the pots tomorrow. I got the 8wk blueberry strain

maybe @Heirloom genetics can fill us in a little bit more on what he is calling Marion Berry. I am stoked to see this blueberry auto. I have been verrrrrry hesitant to try any blueberry autos up to this point, mainly because I grew some DJ short original seed stock blueberry for years and years. It was literally all I grew cause it was the best smellin and tasting pot ever. So we will see how this stacks up. Also if I get a suuuuuuuper blueberry smellin lady it will definitely be what I use to clone using the tissue culture method.

For those that don’t know( and I just learned this today) there has been some amazing work done with autos and cloning them from tissue cultures. When this is done it resets the bioclock and it grows just like it does from seed. So this is a way to preserve fire ass genetics. It requires knowledge and sterile technique skills but I already have all the stuff due to my work with mushrooms. So I am really stoked about this project with the super fast blueberry genetics and new tissue culture cloning method.
DJ shorts blueberry was my all time favorite strain from when I was a kid. Haha. Good ass shit for sure. Was around heavy for many years then disappeared. I'd live to get my hands on some blueberry beans from dj short some day. Yum!
