Ok guys , would you like to come along for the ride , this should be fun , so here is the go , there is 3 of us myself and my 2 sons - 20 and 23 - and young blokes being what they are don't need - ANY - advice from Dad . Now my soil is a potting mix from the local hardware store nothing flash - perlite - and a cheap brand of coco [ not real good ] as I had to make do with what I was able to get , So what I done was about 60 % soil and 20 % perlite and 20 % coco , mixed all together and it felt real nice , well to me it did , now the sneaky bit , I set this soil about 2 months ago and flushed the hell out of it and now the wet has started it also had a lot of rain water soak it , I have a PH that ranges from 5 .6 to 6 , The boys soil - who knows - they both only potted 2 days ago and that is after me telling them to sort there dirt out way back , Did they PH there soil - No - do they have a grow plan - NO- did Dad try to advice them - YES- there reply , I 'm doing it my way , Ok I say we will see , So guys lets bring it on and we will kick there Butts , I have 5 Dark Devil and 1 Cash Crop -- son # 1 , 3 Cash Crop , Son # 2 , 2 Royal AK , All autos . The photos will explain a lot and you can see what I have . Nutrients are AN ph perfect , I also have Carbo load , Bud candy, Silica , Cal/Mag , and PH up and down .

Also as a "son" I would like to come over and explain to your sons how lucky they are having someone with experience to teach them instead taking the risk asking from advice from strangers !

This a good life lesson you are teaching your sons. After this when they see there DAD'S grow and the nice huge nugs you are smoking. Hopefully the growlight will shine bright in there young minds and they go hey Dads a pretty smart whipper snapper we should listen to him

Day 7

Well all is good so far and we are at day 7 since they sprouted , I had one that was not good so out it came , I must have planted it upside down as the root came up first , Room temp is at 25 to 27 degree and humidity is sitting around 50 to 60 % I am taking around 5 ltr a day as most days outside humidity is in the 90s , by the way the lights are 600 watt Mars led lights , the plants have only been getting plain water as I will start feeding on day 10 , now the good bit .-- My ph is 6 to 6.2 :dance2: , but the boys oh dear these is as low as 5 not that they would know as they have not tested there soil yet , Sooo do I tell them or just be a bad Dad so onward and upward , here are some photos .

Good one Henco, will be following you brother ! hmm about your boys...maybe offer the advice, if they chose to ignore, they can learn off their own mistakes, and learn a lesson on listening to experience ;-)

Day 14

Well that was a interesting week , power went out 6 times , lucky the longest was only 2 hours , we get this at this time of year when the heavy rains start as it is cleaning all the dust off the transmission lines . Outside temps have been in the mid 30s - humidity 90 %, but the room is working great and I fed my girls a light feed on day 13 . The boys plants I have no idea , boy # 2 knows it all and doe's not want any advice from me - that's cool - we will see boy # 1 his plants are doing fine as are most of mine but I seem to have a runt as you can see in the photo so I might rip her out , at this stage and I have the best looking one , Oh and a bit of good luck , I was talking to a mate about chlorine as he works on the water board and he gave me some tablets to check the chlorine level and bugger me I don't have it in the water as we are out of town and our line is run off the main line before it hit's town so I am before the chlorine is added . At this stage looks like I will end up with 3 plants out of 5 - son # 1 - 3 out of 3 - #son # 2 we will wait and see there .
