New Grower HBSS, winter 2018

not germing. 0/3 so far. possibly too warm, dirty hands or im just impatient. using ronin method but seed mat instead of wifi. ty for the vibes :jointman:

Hows it @korben dallas? Excited to see how the ladies all turn out? As far as the leaves go, could be nute burn, could be nutes getting locked out by ph issues. With th fox farms I’ve had best luck running a typical nute regime & running my ph at 6.4. I’m subbed tho man. Cheers & good luck with the grow.

Day 80 Takedown

So much bush ^^

Averaged 90+ grams per plant :bighug:

Nugs were a bit spaced out due to my lack of LST. Trimming was not the worst but plenty of small popcorn. I used the paper bag method. 5 days in bags then into jars. Possibly a bit of extra shrinkage from early harvest or low room humidity. Im very grateful for these high yielding yet forgiving genetics. Smoke report soon .....
:pass:

First auto grow down, many more to come.
Thanks for reading folks!

@korben dallas hey there boss, beautiful plant. Quick question did you have really low humidity while Growing? I just grew two hbss and I had the exact same issues with the leaves yellowing like that, some curling not as bad as what you showed, and buds seemed to slow down developmentally but then pick back up in the end. I had a critical cbd in the same space and it was just fine for the most part. I did a lot if research on lol humidity and how some plants don't respond to it as well as others. I could send you the links if you like. If your humidity was low while Growing that explains to me so much lol

hola john :toke: indeed i did struggle with humidity control throughout the grow. I currently use outside air to regulate temperature and am noticing how dry that leaves the plants. This round of HBSS had multiple variables that could have contributed to the curling leaves and i certainly agree humidity played a role. Before the leaves curled up they had various notable issues (yellow, red brown discoloration, one leaf had wired lightning strike coloration another had variegated spots). My current grow has bluetoof leaves curling down so i thew a humidifier right underneath them. Im certainly interested in reading up on optimum humidity shoot me a dm.
