Lighting Has anyone used BlackDog LED's?

Just trying to see if anyone has ever used BlackDog LED's... I will be starting to change over to led this fall and trying to get feed back on different led's......I know a lot of people using GN and BlackStar but I like to try different things or at least learn about them... I am considering the Mother Ship led but at 1500.00/pc I might try something smaller first and see how I like them...

Iv just had a look at there website and to me there way over priced and the panel looks old news. I mean $650 for a panel that draws 240w and is not modular. I wouldn't waste my hard earned money on those bud you can get a top quality led with equal- ish power for a lot less $$

That's kind of what I was thinking the only reason I ask is because I found 2 on ebay that were cheaper but I want to buy direct from a company. The hid hut has the mothership http://www.hidhut.com/led-mothership-540w-enhanced-spectrum-led-grow-lights-p-2810.html which is the largest one I have seen but do you think I could buy smaller ones cheaper and cover the same space if iwas to run these or something similar I will purchase 4 and run 2 1000w hid in between them.. What ever I use I will want it to be 240v because I don't want to redo all wiring and everything is running 240v now.. I will need to cover a 13x20 area in the new room they will be going in but I might decide to use my 1000w hps having it so theres HID-LED-HID-LED... I here that mixing them gives pretty good results but a lot cheaper on power with just led. So red do you like results with the GN LED's? and have you had any experience with mixing LED and HPS?

I guess another question would be what other LED's have the option of controlling how much blue red and white spectrum's so they can be used from start to finish

Seems like if you want to get near the coverage of a 1000 watt hid your going to spend at least a grand on one... 2 other questions... does GN ship to the U.S and also should I be looking at getting 5w instead of 3w.. I will have about 3500.00 to spend on them so any suggestions on what will work best just let me know.... Thanks in advance

I haven't ever used any LEDs so I can't recommend any to you but I will say that I just ordered 3 240w UV panels from Gotham hydro and try have them to me for $250 each with free shipping and a 1 year warranty. Never seen anyone use those panels but they look alright except for the price
