Hey its me again i am looking into getting the Airking bfq90 after hearing good things about it on this forum cause its silent and my space is so small my question is after seeing pics of it i am confused as to how i hook the filter up to it so that it pullls air thru instead of pushes it. Does anyone have any know how about theses fans

they intake on the big side and exhaust out the 4" spout.... so you'll need to build an airbox if you want negative pressure to the filter... but if you properly tape you ducting you can force positive pressure through the filter to your exhaust... i run positive pressure through my light hood then through my big blue air ionizer to the exhaust... cheers mate!

What exactly is an "airbox" and is there anyplans i can view on how to make one

I run an Airking and push it through a carbon filter that is outside my tent. Here's a pic of the setup on my old cabinet, but it's basically the same with the tent. The fan is inside with a 4" duct attached and coming out the top where the filter attaches. Works perfectly and there's zero smell. Putting the filter inside would take up too much of my space and would also require the box like JM mentioned.
