Has anyone ever used water only soil?

I'll do that for mine too, maybe I can source some worms as well....
On another different matter.... KIS, would you be willing to chime is elsewhere for me? I got this clown in Sick Bay insisting that "CaMg" is it's own defc. syndrome, separate from Ca and/or Mg defc.'s, which is BS..... I'll link you if you like,.. or avoid the smack down, no worries!
That's a silly argument. Calcium and Magnesium are two very different elements and there is no such thing as a CaMg deficiency. You can check out this paper. I had the author on the podcast. https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3417/9/20/4432

Gorilla Glue. Water only soil. This plant has been trouble free and very healthy. About 63 days old.

Northern Lights. Water only soil. This plant is also trouble free and healthy. About 73 days old. Running a little over 3 gal of soil. The only thing I have added to these two plants has been 100% lemon juice to pH the water to about 6.5

:smoking: Indeed it is, and he got a little :pimphand: over it,...he bailed from that thread!
In other more amusing news Tad, this weekend is transplanting time into the well cooked Nute Pack amended soil -:woohoo:...super excited!
I'll tag you when I have the thread up and running... :thanks:

Please do tag me, can't wait to see the results!

Yeah when you are trying to argue against basic plant botany concepts it's really difficult to win.

I'm glad to see the "better add cal/mag" myth going away in cannabis culture.

Looks good. You might experiment wit phosphoric acid because it has better buffering capacity. Citric doesn't last very long and if your soil is too alkaline it may improve plant growth to use a stronger acid.

:shrug:some peep's cannot be helped, learned or told,... and I can't be bothered to pursue stubborn stupidity = :wall:

Amen and pass the potatoes on the Ca-Mg snafu! :smoker1:

My first water only soil, Cherry Bomb

Soil blend mix

2 gallons FFOF, 2 gallons FFHF, 1 gallon Compost, 1 gallon perlite. Water with 5 ml liquid urb, 2 tsp molasses and 1/8 tsp recharge, I let cook for 2 weeks. Then water again when I planted the seed.

First top dress
2 tsp Dr. Earth Home Grown (4-6-3)
1 tsp Dr. Earth Pure Gold (2-2-2)
1 1/2 tsp Dr. Earth Flower Girl (3-9-4)
And 1 1/2 tsp FF Happy Frog (5-8-4)

2nd Top dress (most recently)
Same as above but used 1 tbsp instead of 1 tsp, 50/50 mix

Also made a compost tea with 1 cup compost, 2 tsp Dr. Earth Home grown, 2 tsp Dr. Earth pure gold

Next top dress is next week and that will be all bloom mix.

Plants look really good, nice job especially for first water only grow. I'd watch N inputs from here on out since the plants look pretty green, but it looks like you're going to have a nice harvest!

I ordered this keep it simple water only soil which claims to have enough nutrients to feed a plant for up to 6 months. For anyone who's ever used this water only soil, or any water only soil from amy brand, tell me what has your experience been like?
this is about day 23 , a Fast Buds Gorilla Glue using Great Lakes water only soil its about 40 bucks a bag but it blows Fox Farms away
