Gave the girls another round of trimming yesterday

Could you please tell me what you trim and how much and often?
I tend to cut off any low leaves that look ragged and try to cut off individual upper leaves that are blocking the light from buds developing, but I don't know if it helps more to allow light to hit the buds or hurts the growth of the plant by cutting off leaves which are the food factories of the plant. I tend to check the plants carefully every time I water, and do a little trimming if necessary, so I am doing this every two to three days.

Hey Joe, yeah I've always removed the lower leaves as they yellow up but I tend to leave the upper fan leaves alone if they are healthy and just do some leaf tucking instead. I've only recently starting trimming lower branches off on some of my bigger plants. I did a couple rounds of trimming on these DP plants since there was a crazy amount of side branching, here's a pic of what I trimmed off my TD the second round.

These were some of the lower secondary branches that were well below the canopy and not getting any direct light, these would of just ended up being little popcorn buds so I think it's beneficial to remove them on these bigger plants to help focus the energy on the main colas. Trimming / defoliation seems to be a touchy subject with autos though and some people won't agree...

Thanks, that's a lot more than I usually trim in your photo. I tend to just take individual leaves.
I did some lst on them when they sprouted and managed to get them to create a fairly flat top with several branches becoming colas so there are few lower branches with popcorn buds, but the top colas keep shooting out these big leaves that start to cover up another cola so I snip them off, but I will try to tie them out of the way instead.

Update - Day 47
Buds are filling out nicely and getting real frosty now, especially the ABB. Expecting this one to finish a week or two ahead of the TD. My cal/mg issue has gotten worse unfortunately... only a few spots on the TD surprisingly but the ABB is looking a bit rough, I've upped supplement to 3ml/l now so hopefully that slows it down. Base nutes still at 2.5ml/l and bud candy and big bud at 1ml/l as usual.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. [emoji122] I just planted a DP Auto Blueberry this afternoon. Stoked to see how these genetics work for you!

I had Cal mag issues similar on my auto extreme. She was not pretty by the end but still got huge. I reduced the base nutes to 1.5 and up my cal mg she got through np. You are going to have some good weight bro HANS
