This Special Reserve Cookies III from Brother Mendel was a really leafy girl. Most leaves I’ve personally seen on a plant. Last night I decided to see what was hiding in all of it and to my surprise she’s actually quite the lady. Way more bud sites than I thought. Had to cut literally hundreds of leaves of to see but she’s gonna be fine. What do you guys think of this girl after I cleaned her up?

Looks really nice!
Definitely more light penetration to the lower part of the plant now. I grow SOG and never hesitate to pull leaves. I will completely strip my autos of all fan leaves 2 to 3 times during the flowering cycle. With such dense crops you have no choice, if you don’t want to end up with a bunch of larf.

i always strip all the fan leaves off my plants too. Especially once they get into flower. Funny thing is this plant has always had droopy leaves. Today I woke up and she’s not drooping for the first time that I can recall. She loves all the new light she’s getting.

I do agree… that a good defoliation or two really helps the plant grow stronger, and more vibrant. Funny how people are always timid about plucking leaves off of autos.
Trying to grow buds here and not foliage! Lol!
