That's is awesome and so beautiful of a place. I would love to go there rather I hooked a fish or not. Hooking a fish would just be a bonus. We get some large class great lake runs of fish in the 6-15 pound class. It depends on the year whether its good or not though...water temps and mid winter rains change the success year to year, but some years its crazy sight fishing 10 pounders in 2 feet deep crystal clear rivers...tons of trees and tiny river limit gear to spinning tackle, but watching a 10 pounder charge a mepps [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] spinner and then the battle that follows is the most intense fishing there is!!!!
Pic of a standard 25" rainbow...i dont usually take the camera trout fishing because the country is so rough

Sounds to me like truly you found heaven there that's a spot you should hold dear to your heart forever there's no spots like that I know of here in Michigan nothing can compare to that that's beautiful up in the U P there's a few nice spots but nothing that spectacular. Its hardcore country...most folks(in their right mind) don't want to make the trek to get to that spot...about 6 miles of walking through the river, crossing deadfalls to get to the waterfall...its an amazing place and i try to go there every year that I know the fish will be there.(based on my success in a much easier spot to get to) If the spawn is early the big bows come and go before the season opens and you catch a ton of small speckled trout(brook trout).
