I like winter....get to hang out with my friends that are too busy in the summer/spring/fall. Nothing but toking and fishing! I said screw my fall fishing trip this year, instead we are going to my buds cabin twice next winter.

Used to live for the winter snowmobiling fishing skiing trapping.
I did in the winter time. Took the kids to Petoskey three four times a year just to go skiing back in early 90s
I haven't done any of those things now shit since the freaking mid-90s I think 98 was the last time I went skiing.
I live so far down south now in Michigan that we don't get snow like that anymore we haven't gotten a good snow in a very very long time where you can run the snowmobiles you know for a few weeks. it's like we get a snow and it sits there for about a week or two maybe three and it's gone we don't get good snow like that anymore we don't get ice like we did back in the 80s early 90s and before. We could be ice fishing right around Christmas time most years ice was thick enough shoot we're lucky now if it's freaking thick Enough by the end of January now and only lasts for a few weeks and it's gone.
I have to drive 2 hours North or more to find good winter wonderland anymore.
I sold my snowmobiles back in the mid-90s cuz we just didn't get snow enough down here had to drive 200 miles north just to find a good place to snowmobile that wasn't any fun going only once or twice a year. Pay $4 or 5000 for a sled back then and would like to ride it a little bit you know.
Yeah I love the snow it just cost so much now to go do anything in the snow in the winter Wonderland state.
And shit our gas prices just went up again 3.29 a gallon right now in my area it fluctuates between 298 and 329 I have a four-wheel drive gas truck 93 F250 it don't miss any gas stations it's got that big 460 block down in it fuel injected and then my summer truck is 7.3 L diesel 1993 f350 and diesel fuel right now is getting pretty close to 3 59
I think I seen depending on what day you drive through town you could hit the lottery LOL
But I'm not driving either of them right now they're both stick shift I'm not shifting anything right now probably not for another 2 weeks anyways LOL[emoji90]

Well got a situation developing...
The girls are putting some flowers on..
so I have to get a tarp up and running soon.
I got a bad weather forecast again.. But That's good it's going to work in my favor. Cuz the days are still getting longer. So the over cast sky is my friend just now.
I got to keep these buds rolling cuz they're not just pre flower they're actually producing buds came on really quick and there's quite a few plants showing them.
I got 14 hours n 23 min day light.
But with the over cast sky most days lately.
So I'll call in some help over the next 2 or 3 days and I'll have the tarp up and working defore the sun pops up.[emoji106][emoji482]

Fuel costs...yes i know exactly what you are saying bud!! It costs us more on fuel to run the sleds and get to my buddies cabin, than it costs for everything else (food, propane, bait), and that is with a sponsored tank of fuel and four 5 gallon cans!! 9 hour drives towing machines don't come cheap!

Have to travel a bit to hit some icefishing? Grab a buddy with a gas efficient car and get out there!!

I used to go fishing on the motorcycles a lot way back in the 80s put a fishing pole in the cass roll up some waiters and a little tent and shoot North go fishing anywhere we wanted to it did cost nothing hardly on a motorcycle. Cost of gas in the truck I could use it to a motel room just ride the scooter insted

I got a big fifth wheel trailer. I should take the it up North someplace put it on a piece of property up there or rent a space or something keep it up there.
it cost so damn much now to drag that thing anywhere just sits here in the yard any more.

Thats an even better plan!! Get a spot to keep it for the summer and then take the bike when you have the time to spend a night or two!!
