Outdoor Growtogrow.. Michigan Unlimited multi strain organic grow

Been a minute I know.
Sorry for my absence I've been lazy. :coffee2:

So we are at the end of week 7 tomorrow.:eyebrows:

Colors is popping out on them. The blue full-spectrum 41k bulbs.
I think doing what others have said they will do. There is more trichomes. I believe so cuz they sure do look Frosty and there's lots of that's good grease growing on them. :hump:

Practicing a little high stress training on them. I usually never let my plants get yellowish drying them way out. The leaves start to fall off. Drying them out until the leaves start dropping I rarely ever do that.
but I have been doing some reading and watching some videos about these Growers that have been growing for a 30-40 plus years and looking at some of their techniques growing in high altitudes low oxygen dry conditions and they just let the plant get beat up.
So it's not about getting big yields out of these plants. It's more about getting the best bud possible.. Hard greasy sweet full of all that yummy flavor stuff that you like in your weed. And do it all organic.
So these techniques come from wine growing Vineyards. These guys up in the California mountains have been growing like this for years. Growing their weed.
I've been following this guy's growing style growing on the same Mountain for 30 years.
The weed growing on the West Side of the Mountain so all the wind from the Pacific rolls up onto this mountain and dries it out the air and plant life. He says he hardly ever Waters. Plants look terrible not very tall not real real big but yet good-sized. Leaves all curled up dried out yellow brown.. but the buds. The buds they look like a kids fist in size. Buds are Just hard as a rock greasy as hell. Really top-notch looking bud.

So what I've done to replicate that kind of growing environment. Has been to keep the heat on, as I had the problem with the PM earlier so kept the heat on. Heat been running around 77 to 83° right in their most everyday. The humidity running around 27% almost everyday. It raises up a little bit at night but after the lights come on a couple hours goes back down around 27% from 32%. When I water the humidity goes up a little bit to around 45 to 55%.
Then a few hour's later starts dropping.

The mg-25 is starting to look very nice I'm really digging these buds. They're super greasy I touched a couple of them are very dank and hard feeling they're filling out nicely. They're all about the size of average size coffee cup. And the smallest ones are about the size of a big thumb and they're super dank. And greasy as hell. I already know the smoke is good smoke it's got a fruity bouquet and it's excellent Buzz.

The headband they're looking good. They aren't stressing out as much as what the the mg's are. The headband is liking the conditions more so.
The buds are looking good not as greasy looking as the M.G.'s.
I know the smoke is good and the buds are looking well enough. I hope to see more grease on them. I think they're going to be a little bit longer to harvest than what the mg's are as they don't look like they're as developed or mature as what the mg's are.

The buds are super hard ... All of them you could bounce them off the floor and play quarter bounce. They are freaking rock hard. This may be the hardest buds I've ever grown ever
I have some 707 Headband crossed to my Spice Cake but they are non feminized beans I want to get them worked through my indoor cab so I can get it feminized. Looking like some good fire there. What is MG-25?

So the mg 25 stands for Modified Grapes 25. I don't know what the 25 means. But all these cuts come from the guy I work for and he gets these cuts from a breeder like yourself. Here locally. And so from what I understand the 25 means the 25th time that he's bred it with whatever he's breeding it with?. I do not know that's a secret apparently. So the headbands. There's a headband A and there's a headband B. Those are also some form different crosses both of them. And I don't know what this guy's cross them with. Again I guess those are secrets. In fact I don't even know this guy's name I've heard it a couple of times but I don't remember it. He's very secretive. LOL but the mg-25 is exceptional I like it a lot. The guy I work for he's ruining mg-27 and I think he's also running an mg-22. Mg- 27 I'm familiar with. And is pretty good bud. Not too much different from the 25. But the mg22 I don't remember what that's like he also has ran a 23 as well and I don't know what that was like either. Obviously they're not that good because he's not keeping them in his stable of strains.

So I got your genetics. Nice packaging I love it, it looks sweet.
I don't know what those yellow things are called but I know what they're for thanks for those too.
I'll get a thread up and running here shortly. And start cracking some beans. Thanks bro I appreciate it.
So you want me to put the thread in with your genetic thread that is already there right?

I never thought to ask. Are these strains photo or are they Auto or are they semi auto. Before I start cracking beans?

Got to find new growing places in the yard this year. As I built a deck in one of my favorite growing spots. Smh

I've got a better place to grow though where there going to get a little more sun per day and still be hidden from most of the view of my neighbors. I got to dig holes and put in fortified soil.
I'll still be growing in the grow cage. But only 4 plants maybe. Maybe only 2 or 3. I'm going to try running some chickens in there with the plants. It should be fun .

I run the cmh ,the hps de an the led horticulture lighting group it's the 240 watt quantum board. I like the wide range of lighting spectrums to me plants really seem to like it .

Right I'm sorry I meant to say HPS de.
Yep that's exactly the same lights he just switched from. Brand Facets, and Gaveta. 1000w HPS de
So those lights worked really well for him. The hps de produce good hard bud and good yield. These new lights are kind of iffy I think. The LEDs are doing okay but I think the HPS de had just a little bit more to it. But I'm not sure if the trade-off for the amount of heat that hps puts in the room and the extra Cooling cost as well as the extra power cost. I'm not really up on what that cost him altogether he has a good handle on that. So he says that the LEDs cost less so far. And he's still getting a quarter pound per plant. I don't think the buds are as dank though.? To him that's okay?. He is still running these plants 10 weeks of veg and 9 weeks flowering. He just changed to the 9 weeks flowering. It was 10 flowering.

Hey there neighbor from the far North.
 it's good to have you back online with us. I've always enjoyed all of your photos and your unique growing style that you have to do up there in the Artic.
Yes the season is here.:doh:
I've been kind of lazy myself right now. I mean I got things going but.:coffee2: I should have transplanted and took clones by now. but just ain't rushing I guess this year. I don't think it's going to harm me any cuz I'm not going to plant early like I have before. I'm not even going to go into ground until after 20th of May. Some of the plants probably won't even see the ground until after June 5th...
I have been procrastinating though:shrug::nono: I got seedlings transplants to plant. I do have clones to take now. But not as many as I would like. The mother's plants seem to be going a little bit slower than I anticipated. I should have actually taken clones about two weeks ago. But they just weren't long enough yet for me. The Mg-25 I really want to take clones from hasn't produced a lot of good-looking clones yet. I can get about 7 or 8 of off it. I expect 75% success rate with my cloning. So I definitely want to have a good batch right. I did pretty well with seedlings this year they all seem to come up but one. And I have to transplant all of them in the larger pots and should have done this about 5 days ago:shrug::naughtystep: Then I still have to make clones from all of them before the end of May. :nono::haha::coffee: I guess I better drink another cup of coffee and get my ass in gear. Because there ain't shit happening unless I do it.:hothot:

Thanks for stopping by grow bro. This year looks like it's going to be a good year for all of us to grow. I guess it's time to fasten our pants pull up our suspenders and get to it.

Happy growing:cheers::pass::headbang:

Busy time of year up here. always playing "catch up", like trying to catch a shadow. :pass:

You had chickens before? Bad idea written all over it. Salmonella, dust bathing, voracious appetites for greenery…. Practices like this are not allowed in commercial agriculture for safety reasons. You can’t even apply granulated chicken manure on some crops x days before harvest

Thanks friend.

I'm not commercial. I'm from the farm. Just living in the city. I've been killing and eating chickens and other animals all my life. I'm not afraid of no viruses or salmonella... viruses and pathogens are part of and a fact of life... if you eat anything.
