Outdoor Growtogrow.. Michigan Unlimited multi strain organic grow

Hey @damien50 :toke: The light the I work for is a Diablo 650R. I guess they come in a couple different kinds from what he was telling me he has 4 of those that are for flowering and he has 1 for veg. They're dimmable. I forget the wattage range but I think he said from 50 watts to 600 Watts something like that. He actually is using them right now. I didn't realize that he had those in for this Harvest. And this crop is flowering underneath them right now and will be ready for Harvest this coming week. I went out and looked at the crop the lights seem to be doing very well he has 4 of them in this large room...but he also has the dmh 1000w double-ended. I forget the name of them lights but anyways he's got 4 of those in that room as well. And they all come on at different times throughout the 12-hour. So the LED lights aren't the only lights over top of these plants. I guess he does that so he doesn't overload the circuits or something.

I forget what he. said. That's what I get for getting high before I left there :dizzy::baked:

The 650s are very nice and efficient. Up in my top 5 pre built fixture list for sure lol. He should see a decrease in time to harvest with them but idk about with off and on usage.

The diablo boards are nice with their higher CRI and better spectrum. Definitely a few steps ahead of the Chinese manufacturers that are going to readily attempt to copy them and others in the future.

I have found some DIY strips with a spectrum similar to CMH in 4000/2700k in 98cri for 7.80 per 2ft. Efficacy is lower at 2.2-2.4umols/j but the price is right, just missing UVA.

Can add the UVA with some far blue leds. Have you looked for the far blue led strips? If so what's the cost ?

Broad UV/Violet Kit, 385nm(5), 395nm(5), 400nm(5), 405nm(5),410nm(5) and 420-430nm(5)

Enough to cover the blues that modern LEDs are missing. This is the most expensive aspect for me future builds. RapidLED has UVA but they don't test much of their stuff. Otherwise just AgroMax and Solacure but they only do T5HO UVB

Think maybe I might go and get me a couple of T5 reptile lights. seeing I have fixtures already. I can run a couple of those. They'll provide me UV A and B on the cheep for now.:pass:

Cutter does custom diode layouts and stuff on PCB for small runs. Wink wink
Maybe I'll send them an email.

My furnace just went on the blink today. Oh boy here we go again. I lost my refrigerator a year ago next month. They were all brand new when I bought the house 11 years ago this year next month. :poof:What's next that's going to go???... probably my washer and dryer. S*** Did I just burn bread on myself:doh::shrug::face:

Check out Solacure. I hear and see great things from a few growers with them. Inexpensive to fill 1sqm but I want to run UVA the whole cycle.
