Bargain, I pay around $30 for a bag of potting mix on its own over here. And that's one of the cheaper options!

I know right freaking soil is expensive.
but during the winter months here it's a good time to buy commercial soil. This was frozen all those bags you see on that cart were frozen solid like a rock and they were all like bricks of freaking dirt ice LoL.
I dropped one of them and it damn near'd broke in hafe
They were all 50% off and one of the bag of amendments had a hole in it where a mouse chewed it. A organic bag of bone meal.
I got that for $0.90 what a deal.
It's normally $6.95
I bought enough soil that now I'm probably good for.. well if I buy one more cart like that I'm good for the entire year plus. And I'll have a great start for my compost also because I bought compost starter and composting compost bags so I'll build myself a new compost bin and start composting as soon as the weather breaks.
I have an old 55 gallon plastic barrel that I can cut up and put some screen in and drill some holes in it. And it will make a good compost bin.[emoji482]

I don't know how far you live from a river or a lake but if you want some good soil go down near the river bank or a lake side and if you can legally or if you can't legally whichever you can do.
But dig up some of that soil and get yourself a few bushels of that that's some of the best soil that you can work with. Some old Lakebottom Riverside Lakeside soil is all highly concentrated and very good for growing in it needs little to no amendments until after you've grown in it once or twice[emoji482]

Yeah you know when you got to get the right stuff and it's the right price you just got to get it now you know. I hate letting a good deal go by just so somebody else can get it.
if I don't use it right now I'll use it later... it's kind of like buying toilet paper tooth past I'm going to use it eventually so I can always store stock pile it

Well I think I've slid all the girls I'm going to slide in here for right now I still got my transplanting of the seedlings to do yet.
I've got 2 of them in pots but I still got 4 more to go and my soil is Frozen still so I guess I won't get to them until probably Sunday then I'll have 6 more girls in the veg room giving me 8 total in there and then ready to pop seeds for the grow battles...[emoji482]
