I've grown a few DP strains now and I have to say there Blueberry is the one for me.....so strong and tastie and they yield well too.

I was wondering if someone knows if these lights are some how harmful to humans when exposed for some time?
Sometimes when I check the ladies without turning the unit off I get some strange feeling in my head...Yeah well it's maybe just me, but I prefer to turn it off when I'm opening the cabinet.

Other than that I am loving these lights.

mmmmmm tought you may say that !.I want to do mazar for sure ...( have 1 stunted but growing now ) but BB would be tasty as well ....It's gotta be color mix 6 =BB , AM & PL#2 :dance2:

I had headaches for a while but wear shades now & all ok ...you can get grow room shades for around £15

There not harmful dude there just photons theres not even any UV in there,I don't even where glasses.

Well you got to remember that these light are made to mimmic the sun so haveing a light that close that bright for anything over a few min could be damaging over time ..Trust me i have gotten my eyes burned a few times welding and trust me thats no fun sitting in the dark with you eyes closed for 2days...Not to say that they are bright enough to burn like a welder but you get the point....Get shades also try wearing a hat to keep direct light from the eyes Or my best idea GET some Blueblockers shades like the people wear lol jk...Plus Supa clean all walls and gear .

PS just for anyone Gen info Bleach DOES NOT kill Mold. I got a cert in FL wile back for mold and mildew and asbestos .

All they do is play with your light sensitivity for a few mins, when you come from them you will notice more in the mid range of human color vision (greens). same as when you take shades off in a sunny spot, takes alittle for your eyes to compensate to the different light. you can see colours more vividly than before, takes a little longer for the eyes to adjust depending on how much and what you just been smoking

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind although I never look directly in to the LEDs them self.

P.S.: It's incredible how blind the human eye is to the IR light.

Hey all, Light Deffo arrives tomorrow!

Just got back from seeing the ladies, all looking great, SO BUSHY! Real growth happening now, We added a heater on a timer outside the tent to up the temps, also Attached the light to EZ rollers and got it much closer to the plants, will do the same with the other one tomorrow..

The plants are all looking nice and healthy too, hardly any yellow leaves at all, The training def went well, Think i may need to tie the main top down again for a week or so tho to get it all even! Thinking of switching to 12/12 in 2 weeks , they are about 1ft the tallest from soil to top of plant, ideally i dont want them much bigger than 2-3 ft before flowering commences, but as ive never grown indoors before i wouldnt know.. Any advice would be great , PS do you guys leave your extraction fan/filter running 24/7?

I keep my fan on 24/7 some use a timer and turn it on every 5min but its allways good to have fresh air .Guess on and off saves money .
