WOW this really shows how popular grow northern are at the moment, i had sent a email asking if the sale prices were still available and enquiring about the upgrades, they are SOLD OUT of ALL modular units :jaw: so heres hoping they make a big order lol it just goes to show that their lights really do produce the goods otherwise i doubt they would be sold out. great work grow northern

I spoke to them on friday, when I ordered my MS-006, and was told they had a new delivery of modular units coming in on monday. I haven't as yet received any update on my order as of now so there may have been a delay. Hopefully it will turn up in the next few days.

I would be delighted to have my grow transferred to the grownorthern section

GN are normally fast mate. 2 modulars on my first light stopped working, and Dan told me this was the first on they have ever sent back. I returned it and had a new unit the next day. Customer service IMO is faultless.

sent an e-mail this morning enquiring about my MS-006 delivery date, an hour or so later I get a phonecall from Dan, who explained that things had been held up and the 100 or so units should be with them later today or tomorrow. He said he had recognised my username from when I was the first person to mention Grownorthern on AFN and wanted to use my post in an amended version for online use and giving me a £30 refund on my order............Hows that for customer service?
we spent about 20 minutes discussing things and he outlined some very exciting plans for the future which I am sure he will enlighten us............. as and when.
Also he hopes to be a presence on the GN forum from this afternoon

Iv stoped worriein bout my elekie where my lights ar concerned,its my RVK fans i need to worrie bout now runnin 2 20hrs a day & wil soon be 4 of them. Thank god for GN LED's.. :smokebuds:

Refreshingly decent company that knows customer service. I had a problem with one module over xmass and was sent a new one without question....only problem was Royal mail. Id recommend GN to anyone and its really not that often Id do that. Any news on the new optics and modules ? although Im not to sure how they can be improved.........

Anyone use the MS0006 in a DS60 tent?
It's the one that's 140cm tall.That's all i got to use right now till I move house and setup in an actual room.

I have the light hung 5" from tent ceiling, as far up as it can go and I'm finding it's too powerful!
Whatever I put underneath it curls up to protect itself!

I'm a sucker for bigger and better so got the 006 instead of 004, don't regret it at all, I'm sure it'll do well in a bigger space.
It does get hot in the DS60 with the zips closed, so not recommended without an extract fan.

This may be a stupid question but anyone know if the light is dimmable like with a fan controller that you plug into?

Dude I asked GN the very question you have asked about an after plug dimmer and I got a BIG no lol as for your tent I myself use a dr60 for the seedling the sex stage with a MS004 on 24/0 I've also experimented with light heights and you can have them to low or to high but your in the 'sweet spot' bro so I'm a little confused,what I have recommended in the past to people with height restrictions is to angle the light towards the wall of the tent for the first 5 to 7 days,angling will defuse the light so it's not as intense.
