Hey peeps!

Sorry to keep hijacking this thread, no - one seems to view the Photo plant forum! Couple of photos and questions re filter/fan and placement!

I have a few options when it comes to placement - I dont mind having the filter and fan inside the tent - but could only do this by having the filter on the floor of the grow room - but surely this will suck the cooler fresher air in straight from my low down intake holes, I can hang the filter or fan or have them outside the tent, outside, even just one of them gives me MUCH more space!

In this sort of space, what would you do? My passive intakes will be 2 or 3 1-2inch holes drilled thru bottom right of cab!

Any advice is greatfully received!

Ps i gotta RVK 4" fan to go with my rhino filter but it needs wiring up, i can wire the plug i think but it mentions grounding or earthing, and i have no idea bout that ! any help again would be very handy !

Don't worry about hijacking dude it's what the thread is for, when I have seen a fan on the floor it's been mainly for smell I suppose so yes for heat removal have it at the top of the room so your best option is to have it outside the room.

Cheers Bro - Gonna try setting it up with maybe just the fan on the inside hanging from the top somewher then into ducting annd out up thru the roof and into the carbon filter wchich will either be on top shelf above cab or bottom shelf below cab

hey led if i was u i would just put the fan and filter at the bottom and on the outside of the cab then just run some duct to the top of your cab so the fan is sucking out air from the top still and will just be filtering itat the bottom if that makes any sense lol .that way u wouldnt have to have any ducting or fan/filter inside the cab.

Hey Killa! I was hoping that may work! I can fit both the filter and fan down below the cab, then just duct back up and into the top of the cab- It will leave things much less cluttered!!

like I have in the first pic a few posts up - but with the fan inserted between the filter and ducting - will the fan be sucking air into the filter behind it ?

Is that right ? As the filter only has one hole...
