Growing in hot environments?

I'll be picking up small ac Sunday.
There is an existing 14 x 14 exhaust fan that has 3 speeds. Highest speed is 900 cfm, Don't know the lowest speed. My room size is 3x3 x6'6". Wondering if this might be too much or should I get a 120 cm computer fan?
One reason for asking is humidity control. While existing ac may not cool the whole space, it does lower the humidity quite a bit and am wondering if I'll need a humidifier and if so what should I be looking at. Are those tea pot things enough? I've heard some people say you shouldn't use these misting things cause of mold. Not too concerned about that cause my "plan" is to manifold and keep things trimmed so there is plenty of light and air space.

Ye the ac does lower humidity. I got this one to help keep it up.

That small humidifier might work since you're in a small space. I use a 6 gallon one that pretty much works like a small swamp cooler. It keeps my temps down about 5 degrees F & my RH between 60% - 70%. This is in a 5' x 10' x 7' tent so a small one might work for you. I also have my house A/C ducted into my tent & a 4" Fan & Intake Filter for intake. My temps run 77 - 81 F with the exhaust fan off. With it on I top out at 79 F. I'm running 2 Advanced Platinum P900's & 2 Kessil COBS & hitting these temps the way my set up is. I'm in AZ. But use to live in Daytona, Orlando & Tampa so your Humidity is higher there & temps are slightly lower. That being said....A Humidifier & Decent Exhaust & you should be just fine.

Is the 4" fan for intake or exhaust?

1st pic shows how I ducted A/C into my tent. 2nd pic ...upper duct is exhaust & vents out window & the Lower Duct with the Fan & Filter is my intake.

I was under the impression the filters were more of an exhaust thing to keep down the telltale odors??

Here's a little encouragement for a high temp grow … https://www.autoflower.org/threads/high-temps-nlbb-bubblelicious.45970/page-10#post-870411

Current closet grow temps 88* https://www.autoflower.org/threads/hubbabubbasmelloscope.71938/

Plants will grow OK up into the low 90s but it hurts their potency slightly if they are flowered at these temps … Lots of fresh air is the key to high temp grows … that and getting to the point where you can grow enough between October and April so you can hang it up during the summer months …

You mean I didn't have to buy that ac unit? I'd be happy with those in my closet. At least now I don't have to sleep on that lumpy couch. That'll be great to know as hurricane season draws near. A few days w/o power might not be a big deal. Thanks for that.
Sooo, I did buy a small ac and a humidifier. Theirs about a 2 1/2" space at bottom of door and I put a fan behind that blows cool air up to the plants. Air exhausts through roof vent that is cracked just a little.Temp is staying between 72 and 80. Gonna need a controller for the humidifier as it is fluctuating a lot. It's now being controlled by Manny Labor. Seedlings are up and have good color so far. I suppose I should move this over to the newbies grow diary
