Growing in hot environments?

I see comments about controlling temperature. I'm in central FL. I put extra insulation in my space and will use led's.Right now it's 97 outside and 86 in the space when the door is closed. Sooo-How hot is too hot? I thought most of this stuff originally came from hot climates?

My personal and non professional opinion. Is to keep the tent between 75 and 82. If your tent is getting to hot you can find a cheap ac unit on kijiji or Craig's list or whatever sites are of that sort in your area.

Yeah, looks like I'm going to have to break down ans buy ac for the bedroom. Looks to be a long hot summer

That could do. If it doesnt have an auto shut off once its hits desired temp your gona wanna really monitor you hydrometer for the first couple days to make sure you have it set so it stays at optimum temp. That being said you wanna make sure it's not misting. Or at least not while your plants are in flower.

Idk about that, I bought one last summer from Walmart (not this one )and it was weak in my closet. It runs out fast. I tryed ice cubes also but still didnt last long. Waste of money if you ask me.

Haha, worse, and when the water runs out it blows warm air out you have to be around it all the time for it to work properly!

I grow in my closet in my man cave. I have 2 auto cobs, 1 humidifier, 4 fans. In the winter time(from late oct-april) my temps stay at 78-82 but now thru augs is when things get very hot. Yes, I have ac unit to keep thing down but only when I'm above 90.

If I were you I just get the ac, life will be better growing with it!! I turn my lights on at 4 p.m and run them until 10- 11 a.m. when I get home(6pm) from work I open closet door temps be 77-80(in the winter time) now when I get home it 82 and the high so far was 86. Nothing growing as yet but I got something in the works When the lights come on I'll shot some pics of it
