All off to a nice healthy start!!@CrookDog forgot to tag you bro here is day 4
I moved the lights up a few inches as the 2 red poisons in the center of the led were turning lighter green, maybe its just the strain but to be safe i went up :smoking:

I used the free sample normal bokashi he sent me not the veg stuff i bought and i sprinkled just a little bit to get things started. If u added some when u mixed soil u shouldn’t need more right now! Maybe in another week u could do a 1/2 dose and that should take u til u need the bloom blend!
With SIP containers it’s less is more for sure! Once I started adding the kashi and changing up feed schedule with the stuff it started throwing shit off track! Best results were when I added the least stuff during grow! If u got living soil type blend you’re growing in u won’t need to add much! I would still wait the week and then go super light on it cuz remember with dry amendments it takes time to kick in AND IF U ADD TO MUCH THERE IS NO REVERSING IT! Would take tons and tons of flushing and you’d have to have a pump to siphon the reservoir out!I used the free sample normal bokashi he sent me not the veg stuff i bought and i sprinkled just a little bit to get things started.
I know me, i'll want to start throwing buildaflower and craft at it as soon as i see sexing but i'll resist and follow the plan lol
Autopots with living soil is exactly what I will be doing this winter. The soil is cooking now.Welcome to the grow
I'm trying to get away from hand watering myself and this is my 1st try at it but i still end up hand watering until i can fill the res up, then i hope they don't drink 2 gallons a day after this grow i will try autopots and see if that route is the best for hands free watering :smoking: but then I'm opening a new can of worms by going hydro nutes in a res for the 1st time unless we can do living soil in autopots and just have the res filled up with rain water more research is needed :smoking:
I seen that with the auto valve you can do all kinds of things, hell i seen dudes make their own float valves for tote sips and diy autopots using auto watering bowls for dogs, cool stuff! :smoking:Autopots with living soil is exactly what I will be doing this winter. The soil is cooking now.
You don't have to use autopot pots, you can subirrigate anything using the autovalves. I will be using 10 gallon fabric pots, but I have also used large totes fed by autovalves for growing peas and salad stuff on my deck. Once plants are established, the irrigation cycle seems to be perfect.
@pop22 has done some really nice autopot grows with water only soil mix, so it can definitely work well. The reason I am going in that direction is to eliminate the issue of nute buildup in subirrigated pots. With water only irrigation, maybe I can avoid the nuisance of needing to flush plants later in the grow. So far, I have always run into some sort of nute imbalance or toxicity during flowering on most of my salt nute grows. If I end up with decent results this winter, water only soil with autovalves will be my go to approach.
Good luck with the SIP's mate, I'll be following along with interest.
