Day 16
The plants seem ok.
I would like to note that the are in Mephisto soil mix which I think is great for veg for photo plants.
I am so ready for the transplant.
We are about to approach day 1 of a harvest every 30 day schedule.
The plants seem fine. The humidity is 50%. Because of the mildew episode I decided to flower all 6 plants. Everyone will be transplanted, 4 today and the 2 for the autopot will have to wait until early this coming week.
Day 17
I have selected my 2 favorite plants for the autopot.
It's gonna be very tight but I'm going to do 4 5 gallon pots and the autopot system. I will definitely have to try extremely hard to contain the plants.
I will be using a 2 tier trellis setup to train the plants and cover the 4 by 4 canopy. I'll put the 5 gallon pots in the 4 corners of the tent with the autopot system in the middle so I'll be able to water the plants.
The PM is starting to hit the plants. Other that that plants are in great condition. I'm undecided on what I should do. These plants are part of the start of my perpetual. I will remove the infected leaves and brainstorm. This sucks...
Just stumbled across your thread and had a read-through. The best way to deal with powdery mildew is to increase your temperature and definitely increase the air movement across your plants with an oscillating fan. And you may have to reduce your humidity.
One product I keep on hand at all times because it's very versatile and it is death on powdery mildew is SM 90. In smaller quantities like a couple mil per liter it works great as a foliar spray helping your plants to absorb whatever nutrients you're putting in your spray. At much higher doses it's an insecticide. It also helps stimulate a plant that's under attack.
By the way the plants are growing I think I can fit all 6.
They are not branching far.
Humidity is under control. With this being I'll transplant the 4th plant today and ponder the next move.
2 of the plants are 24 inches tall. That's way to tall while I'm in veg. So I bent them both.
They all will fit.
the 4th one was transplanted and watered.
I believe that there are 36 squares on the net. Each plant needs to take up 6 squares for me to have a full net. 1 top per square to start. I need 14 grams per square for 448 grams. Which my setup can produce that but my hands I'm looking at maybe half that.
I'll put another net 24 inches away from the bottom one. Soon depending on the plants the lower branches will be taken.
