Photography growers screwed by af's not fully stabalized !

Another issue is "Germination %"...........the top growers like DP have suffered from low germination............my experience with the "TD"............out of 2 lots of 10 beans got 3 plants,...........2 Qs marks, 1 good phen/geno..??.........at 9quid a bean that's not funny either...........hope they sort that out soon.................S-B had the same on his TD run................2 out of 10 beans,,,,,,,,,,,,,,took 25 beans to get 3 suitable for the trial ??..................any one else had probs with germination % ?/...........AB........

No, three out of three so far with my TD beans. Will be putting the another four in the ground once this grow is finished. Hazy

Been growing DP strains a long time TD 3 pack all germed 3 BB all germed..... auto mazar 14 only 2 didnt germ. With ther photo strains they have better germ rates from my experience. Iv had a few photos not germ but iv been growing ther strains since the late 90s and find they have some of the best germ rates around. Sure iv had runts & thats expected but never any other problems. I also only buy from repetable banks who store seeds properly some of my friends get thers in head shops and always seem to have bad germ rates because ther beans have probably been stored in display cases instead of fridges

At first i had a problem with germanation until I started using those simple seed starting kits from kmart. Do not use the chunks of stuff they sale with it, just buy seed starting mix. I got mine from kmart again. Like muddy said, be carfull about how much water you use to wet the mix. Moist, not wet. I don't even soak the seeds in water first now . Just make a small hole in the mix and place the seed there. Keep the cover closed and in a warm place. Now I have 95% or many times 100% germ. My mistake was going ahead and moving them outside once they popped. I have looked thru my records and I spent over $1400 on autos and was able to harvest 12. After finding out here that even though the seed merchants gave an outside harvest weight, they failed to warn us to start them inside first. I can forgive them saying their strain is the most potent auto, we all expect them to give themselves an advantage in marketing , but to say it has an outside harvest on a plant that will die if you do plant it outside , that is hard to overlook. Some here may think I favor photos over autos, but that is not the case. I simply want them to continue to improve, and vigor is where they need the most work. Thank god for the great people on this site. Without them I would have gave up on autos.
