So, I had been growing for a few years, just regs. Then I moved and stopped for a minute to set a few thing sup, well here I am back at it.

4x4x7 Tent, 2 6inch Inline, 6inch ducting, 600w HPS, 3 Gal SMart Pots (realize i should probably go to 5's) and General Organics Nutes.

My first Auto Run selection is the following:

Sweet Seeds Auto Cream Caramel x3
Dinafem Seeds White Cheese AUTO x3
Dutch Passion Snowstorm #2 x1
Dinafem Seeds Cheese AUTO x 1

Anything I really should know? figure just keep lights at 18/6 give nutes for a few weeks then switch to bloom nutes when i notice change and then flush n cut when appropriate?

Sounds like a great set up Husky welcome to the site! Your plan sounds good to me just go easy on the nutes since autos are sensitive :smokebuds:

Hey man and welcome to the AFN>Take a browse through the links in my signature as there is some great info in there. :D Good luck!

Welcome to AFN, bud:smokebuds:I will add a little of info. When she is done growing vertically, she will be ready for the flower nutes. Lots of luck and enjoy the community. Great vibes will always be around here:gthumb:

Welcome to AFN Husky!!!

If you are growing autos you have come to the right place!!!:D
Browse the sticky's and ask lots of questions, although you seem to have it pretty well organized!

Looking forward to seeing your grow journal!

Welcome to AFN Husky, glad to have you! This is the best community on the whole intrawebs for not only autoflowering but good vibe! No trolls, no spammers, nothing but good karma. Check out the New Growers forum for a lot of tips on autos and others experience with them as well as the indoor section. Your set up sounds great and should work well with 8 plants. I hope you start up a grow journal so we can see how good those General Organics nutrients treat you.

As for your questions,

Autoflowers never stop growing. So while 18/6 would work, 20/4 might give you additional yield but shouldn't change potency. 24/0 isn't recommended by many. I personally believe some "sleep" time can only help the plants. If you can afford the extra 2 hours of 600W, I'd kick it up to 20/4.

Start nutrients at an extremely low dose, if it says 1 TSP per gallon, put 1/4 TSP per gallon. Keep feeding veg nutes until vertical growth stops. This is important for autos as they will flower and grow vertically at the same time, but they won't really pack on buds until the vertical growth stops.

What medium are you using? I invite you to start a thread with your journal (even if nothing is set up yet) and ask any and all questions there so it's easier to reference as you continue to grow.

Thanks for joining us!

Thanks for the welcomes and tidbits all.

I'm curious to see what I can do with autos. I get that I'm not typically going to be getting 8+ ounces pulls off single plants anymore but what im trading in height and weight is speed and size.

Beyond what I have picked, are there any traditionally decent yielding autos?

I'm a big fan of Dutch Passion Regs which is why picked up that snow storm.. not used to how auto's work but did to enough reading before I took the dive.

Tent is setup, I'll get some pics once I get ducting and stuff sorted, thing that pisses me off about this tent is i still need to go fix a few small pinholes around bad stitching, it is depressing that new tents are never 100% light proof, not had one that i did not have to put a lil gorilla tape on.. /sigh

Making another seed order here soon.. I've been using attitude, you guys use anything different? Its all i ever used for regs/females so using it again for autos.

How do these girls respond to molasses and other hardening/thickening nutrients?
